I can't beat Gohma.  Time to build badges.

Gohma is easy. Just hit him in the eye with an arrow after he shoots his beam and then beat the crap out of him when he's stunned. Just dodge his jumping attack and learn to dodge out of the way or stay out of range of his attacks and he goes down pretty easily.

John Carpenter's Top 5 Games of 2014

I'll spoil this shit for you now, so you don't click the link. His GOTY was AC: Unity. Mr. Carpenter, not only were you kind of rude to me at the horror convention I met you at this year, but you haven't made a good movie in 25 years and your taste in video games sucks ass.

I just didn't have time.  I'm fighting for play time with a five year old.

'K. Badges aren't really gonna help with Gohma just yet, just learn his simple patterns and he's a push-over.

Get used to fighting the big bosses pretty quickly... Sometimes you'll have to fight more than one at a time!  GASP

During the first half of his career he made some genuinally epic movies. Escape from New York, Halloween, They Live, Big Trouble in Little China, and a few others. But once the 90's arrived (and he did Memoirs of an Invisible Man), he never did anything worth watching again.

I know.  I've hardly had any play time except as pinch hitter in tough situations.

Has he even directed a movie lately?

Just to put a face to the frustrations people have been feeling for the last few days with the PSN and Xbox Live outages:

This is one of the dicks claiming responsibility. I imagined him fatter and with a lot more pimples, but he's pretty much what I pictured otherwise.

Notice the lack of windows behind him. Obviously broadcasting from his parent's basement.

He had some project a couple years ago. I don't remember much about it. I think it was for HBO or Showtime or something. Movie, show, miniseries... something. No idea what. His health isn't great these days, so he's pretty much retired and just goes to conventions to sign autographs for $40 and act like a cranky old man.

I don't know. He's pretty non-descript. You could have put a bleached potato up there and I couldn't tell the difference.

A lot of games actively send information to and from servers during gameplay these days, so they try to connect before you can play. I couldn't get on to Dragon Age until I turned the Auto Sign-In to PSN off for the last two days. Games don't have DRM like security, but trouble connecting to PSN does have a lot of negative side effects.

At least Nintendo doesn't have to put up with this shit. My Wii U has had no problems loging in all week.
