BTW Edge I think you are secretly AlphaOmegaSin, don't ruin it if you are not.
I'm on World 3 in Yoshi's New Island, and the game still rocks. The only negative I can say about it are the vehicle levels, wherein you are forced to use gyro tilt controls. Super lame. Not fun. Bleh. Thankfully, there doesn't seem to be many of these areas, only a couple per world.
Well, I'm back.
And utterly knackered.
Knackered? Is that a word? Is it some kind of english cracker or bread?
Knackered? Is that a sex reference? If so, then:
GG! Woo!
Congrats, GG! You didn't meet her in a port, did you?
As long as he didn't over pay or catch something incurable, it's all good.
This was me in Bang Cock. Hottest freaking place I have ever been. It was so humid too, like walking in a sauna. My face felt like it was on fire. And I saw not a single tranny and was not propositioned once, but I didn't go to the Red Light Areas so there. A lot of lesbians in Bangkok, one is usually short haired and dresses manly like. The MTR underground and Skytrain are cheap and easy to use but they only cover the east of the city really and is like only having 2 lines on the subway map. Definitely get a hotel nearer the Grand Palace as that is were most of the sight worthy stuff is.
I feel like I didn't see the seedy side of the city, which is a shame. On the last night the cab driver pointed out that the Caesars, which looked to me like a mini Thailand branch of the Las Vega Cesars palace hotel, was actually a massage parlour, about a 5 min walk from the hotel. There were also other massage parlours on the same street but unless you were out at night you wouldn't know they were there. Since we were up and walking from early morning to dusk in stifling humidity, we were pretty knackered by evening time.
Learned later on you can stay in Thailand really cheap if you know where to stay and where to eat. Like less than $2 a meal and $100 a week for a hotel/guesthouse.
It's a real word, means exhausted. 14 hours of flying with about 6 hours of waiting around airports and hotels on top.
Good to be home and seeing so many of you watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
Oh and it was funny seeing westerners going native. You could tell they'd been bumming it too long in Thailand when the nose rings, hemp clothing, rasta hair and baggy Thai pyjama pants made an appearance.
It's here!
Woo! Go Gamecocks!!
Just too much
I just beat Halo Anniversary again. Still the funnest game in the series. The Collection version is a bit glitchy though. Sometimes it skips levels for no reason. I had just started Keyes, & when I went back to the game they skipped me ahead to The Maw.
*sigh* Even ports of decade old games are released unfinished these days.
I finished Halo Anniversary and am a few missions from finishing Halo 2 Anniversary. For me each game is progressively better then the last. That last driving bit in Halo CE was fucking annoying. I had it glitch past a level in the first game as well. Thank god for mission select. Halo 2 Anniversary was glitched in that it wouldn't correctly save during missions so I'd always have to start at the beginning if I saved and quit during the mission. Yesterday's patch fixed this though. Multiplayer matchmaking is still pretty messed up and they're hoping to have it fixed next week.
Don't ever visit a hot country, GG. You will die.
I finished the first dungeon in Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, and it's pretty good so far. My only complaint is that we are forced to use the analogue stick; I'd much rather use the D-pad.
