Penis drawings, massive (Y), GG!
I am enjoying the penis posting GG. Lol.
But yes maybe you are getting old and cranky. All of us jump through financial hoops to play games, no one is being singles out. I would love to play kamiyas next game but it is only on Xbox, oh well I need to buy one then. There are a bunch of cool oculus stuff coming, I need a PC for that.
That is the industry. No one supports us, we need to buy what we want to play most. Hell I have to pay $300 just to buy a machine that lets me play Nintendo games, that is ridiculous but oh well.
Don't do it!
A few exclusives here and there is different than Everybody vs Nintendo. If the Nintenlogic was reversed I don't think people would readily accept it so easily. I just don't think it's normal, fine and acceptable and I don't think people should accept that it is. That's my personality, for instance the London Transport authority is trying to make everyone use their Oyster cards and penalise people who don't have one. I've said fuck you to them too and would rather pay more money because I don't agree with being forced to use it. When the UK Govt said that it's perfectly fine and legal to snoop on everybodys internet usage I said fuck you to facebook.
To me gaming is like an eco-system with a level of co-dependancy. One supports the other. If the situation was reversed and every third party on the planet said: you know what, we're not going to make PS4 games at all. In fact we'll make games for every platform except PS4. PS4 sales would obviously suffer, dwindle and die.
Well gaming companies that don't support a platform and then pretend they called it, is like: no shit? If your platform had no games how's that going to sell? Reverse the situation, if X1 received zero support how would that sell on Fable, Forza and Halo?
Reverse the logic again, if the three main platform holders said, everybody can publish games for our platforms except EA. There would be a shitstorm. Where would that leave EA? They would take a massive hit on their business.
There's a reason 3rd party support is called "support", without support, a platform will fall. If everyone pre-destines that something will fail 2 years before it's even released then gives it 2 months to sell before cutting support, well no shit it wont sell that well. I guess that's my over-developed sense of fair play, I expect a fair shake of the dice. The GC for instance got a fair shake and then in latter years 3rd party tailed off. It wasn't 2 months than nothing.
Reverse the Nintenlogic again, lets have EA release Next gen versions of their sports games that have less features than their 360 gen versions and perform worse too and then assume that they don't promote or talk about the next gen versions at all. How well are those next gen ports going to do?
And I've never absolved Nintendo of all failings but I think the base system is good, I think their lack of marketing is dreadful and their games were too late. I would accept that the system is less powerful and that's why it's missing games but then they announce PS3/360 ports of everything. Again that goes against my view of gaming and its rules. To me the cyclical rule is that when we switch generations they drop the old systems to make games for the new ones. Instead they want to keep the old systems on life support, because they even bring in more money than PS4 and X1. But then a new system suffers instead and Nintendo is the fall guy.
There's been too many years of this constant screwage, delaying a completed Rayman Wii U by months so it can release with new other versions. Delaying only the U version of Watchdogs and nothing else. Releasing MGS3 or ME3 then announce the whole series on other platforms. Games releasing late, shipping too few copies, having C-teams make games, it just goes on and on.
Rrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaa!
I love pissed off ranting penis drawing GG!! I get your point so I won't poke you with a stick anymore even though I want to.
I think I know why I am so apathetic in this situation GG. I am a Sega fan. Everything you think you are going through I went through so much worse.

As a SEGA fan you also want Nintendo to become the next Sega!
I would never want anyone to become the next sega. Nintendo is best with their own hardware, they just need to get back in touch with the rest of the industry.

RIKI!!! Shulk is a fantastic addition. I really have no faith that Smash Wii U hits this year.
Nintendo should become a PC exclusive developer.
Mario Kart 8 4k + AA (even though AA is a bit redundant at 4K). (Y)
I have doubts as well. If I recall the same thing happened with Brawl and it ended up getting pushed back to January.
Still if it does happen I bet we'll get some sort of timed demo that will expire the day the game launches.
I wouldn't be too sure. Nintendo is launching their Amiibo lineup, plus they need a major title for the holiday.
Yeah Metroid and Zelda would suck on non-Nintendo hardware. They wouldn't be able to capture the same magic on a different companies better tech.
On a serious note, Nintendo will never be in touch with the industry because they choose not to be, which is why they're in the situation they're in and have nobody to blame but themselves!
BTW....SEGA always had pretty good support though, right up to the end on Dreamcast. Support only really got pulled AFTER they announced they were abandoning the system.
This is getting fun. If you don’t know Sega is suing Gearbox because they lied about developing Alien Colonial Marines cause they passed it off to some other developer while taking checks from sega. So now Sega is dumping out all the dirty laundry which is great for us! So this is how you market a turd.
http://kotaku.com/the-legal-battle-over-aliens-colonial-marines-just-got-1630197749
This is the proposition document which explains how they should market this. “After all you can’t go wrong with a badass shooter”. “you are suspicious of a new IP”. This is how game companies view us. Sadly it is correct for many people.
This is how companies view E3 and plan out their marketing strategy. Randy is the head of gearbox and who would be the face of the games marketing. I love how they are against the pre E3 event cause E3 awards do not equal sales. Or how they wanted to be xbox only so they could get 1st party exposure in a MS conference.
This is gearbox saying that need free reign of PR and that Randy is an internet celebrity. Did you guys know that?
Sega pissed at Randy
I love the wording in these official documents and letters, so professional " class="wp-smiley" src="http://freedomcgc.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif" style="clear:none;float:none;margin:0px;padding:0px;" />
Is that a joke?
Nope. All real. All court documents now.
