You have to feel bad for Harmonix over Kinect becoming an option now. They had several games in development that used Kinect and they pretty much found out when the rest of the world did. And once June 9th rolls around, that'll be exactly how many Kinects are sold for the system and how big their potential audience will be.
Is it strange for me to be anticipating May 15th in order to see how well I fared in the Americas and World Tournaments in Mario Golf: World Tour? Even if you are slightly curious about Golf in general, it is a very, very worthy purchase!

360 Kinect sold like crazy so I don't think it will be that bad.

Problem is it sold to two groups:
1. Core gamers who got caught up in the hype of Kinect, hated it, and really didn't want to buy it a second time.
2. Casual gamers who purchased it once the console had gone through several price cuts, and aren't going to buy it for a while. . . and really don't want to buy it a second time.

Oculus Rift isn't sold by default with the consoles, so no we won't on a large scale with consoles.
Oh that is what you mean. Wiimote was the only true hope the industry had for extreme change and it didn't work. Enjoy the unique experiences where you can get them.

With the Wii U pad dead in the water, this news kinda sucks.
There's nothing exciting about this gen whatsoever. Yuck.
Not that anyone would've used Kinect anyway. But still.
Are you saying gaming on the cloud isn't exciting?

Let's be champion for the Gamepad. Gamepad! Gamepad!
It is already dead.
I'd buy it if I had more income for games.
