When you can't play for a while, it makes what you play when you return to gaming that much sweeter! It's almost like hitting the reset button and starting fresh... I know you're not doing it voluntarily, but sometimes it's good to do it anyway!

Yes I know, I hit burnout periods too, then it feels good to come back later.
Aren't those first 2 images from cutscenes? Given how it ties in to a GC cartoon, I wouldn't be surprised if the cutscenes would be prerendered to look exactly like the cartoon. The third images looks more like representative of the actual game in my opinion.
Earlier this week Shin'en Multimedia teased a reveal for a new Wii U game, one beyond the already highly-anticipated FAST Racing NEO, and we're delighted to exclusively confirm that this Wii U eShop title is Art of Balance. This new entry has all of the levels that have come before, but has been overhauled with an extensive range of new game modes:
Main features :
Off-TV play, as well as multiple control schemes supporting analogue, touch screen and Wii Remote options.
Multiple online and local multiplayer modes that incorporate either competitive or co-operative play. Up to five players can take part in the various modes at once — one on GamePad, four on Wii Remotes — while up to 10 people can play across two Wii U systems in online matches. Online Leaderboards are included.
HD visuals that incorporate all new graphics, designs and locations. More accurate physics that are processed at 240 frames-per-second (on 3DS the equivalent was often 30 frames-per-second.
I played and enjoyed the game on Wii when it was first released. It was fun in a soothing kind of way, but I think it's one of those things where experiencing it once in a lifetime is sufficient.
Shin'en might brag about squeezing every droplet of power from Nintendo hardware, but I'd rather have them do some new stuff. Not that I'm not looking forward to Fast racing league Neo of course

i suggested a small scale survival horror, they reply: it's not our cup of tea
i also ask the head of avalanche what the implications of his AAA insights were 4 da company, he replied tat they would stilll make aaa gams but the release model would hav 2 b different.

it looks better. also da traile from yesterd was all realtime
I saw both trailers. Nothing will keep Crytek from showing renders in their engine trailer that won't be representative of the game as rendered on the WiiU. And even if the cutscenes in the reveal trailer are rendered in-engine, that still proves little in terms of the quality of the actual gameplay graphics. Skyward Sword is just one example of where the cutscenes often looked way better than the actual game (effects and such). I'm just seeing discrepancies between the cutscene images, and the image that is from actual gameplay. I mean, look at the rim lighting on Knuckles. It's nowhere to be seen in the 2 cutscene stills.
Got up this morning not feeling particularly well. Went to work, and 20 minutes into my shift, I nearly threw up on the line. I'm home now. Shit, I feel like.

Ur overthinking things. that ce3 video was realtime proggress from the dev big red buttom of the actual game. not some footage cynically manipulated by crytek 2 show unacheivable renders. and there was lots of realtime footage in the trailer so i don't know why you're questioning how it looks ingame when u can see it there
Big Red Button Entertainment, the new game studio founded in February 2008 by Naughty Dog vets, who left the company they helped found to establish the "United Artists of games."
Bob Rafai was the former art director at Naughty Dog and had the distinction of being its first employee. He led visual development on Crash Bandicoot and the Jak and Daxter series, as well as co-art directing Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. E. Daniel Arey, Naughty Dog's former senior designer and creative director, has headed up or assisted development on multiple titles, including Gex, Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Rafei will assume the role of Chief Visual Officer at the new studio, while Arey will become its Chief Creative Officer.
Well thats interesting. where did you find that?
i researched the internet, there are many BRButton articles.

And then there is the Vita. Nobody is talking about that either.
does that count as an absolute failure? sony should kill Vita and make games for 3ds and smartphones.
