Gamecube usually got late and sloppy ports. Your Resident Evil example has no basis in reality whatsoever. RE4 sold more on the PS2, but not by much. Your Remake example has is just pure speculation on your part.
Your Wii example is even worse. Red Steel a new IP sold over a million copies at launch. The CoD games sold over a million copies, even though activision acted like the wii version did not exist. Most 3rd party games on the Wii were shit and should have sold like shit.
My RE example has no basis in reality but you admit a worse version of RE4 on PS2 did outsell the GC version, your logic chip is broken. Outbreak games outsold REmake and Zero, OUTBREAK... think about that.
And on a console with 100 million users those kinds of sales are atroshious. Even if CoD was not marketed. RS2 sold worse, wtf is that.
Trine 2 on PS4 is the most amazing 3D I have ever seen in my life. I have it on PS3 but I want to buy it on PS4 just to play the whole game in 3D.
On the flip side Puppeteer which is a game that is all about 3D stunts (stuff flying at the screen) has some of the worst 3D I have seen.
PS2 user base was much much bigger than the GG user base! Think about that for a second before you spout your nonsense.
Your Remake comparison has no basis in reality what so ever. You are comparing apples to oranges. If Remake was ported over to other consoles than you had a comparison, but you don't.
At lauch the Wii did not have 100 million users. So again nice try, but sorry Vader, but your logic is at another castle. CoD4 was not marketed at all, came out year to late and it still sold over a million.
Are you really going to use RS2 as an example?! You are grapsing straws here. Look at Red Steel 1, look at Red Steel 2. They are not even in the same genre. Why not useTiger Woods as an example? All the version were released at the same time. And the Wii version thanks to the Wiimotion+ sold the most!
Where did I compare REmake to anything, it was an estimate, obviously. REmake on any other system would have been gigantic. If Outbreak could sell millions on PS2 an actual mainline RE game would have sold double if not more. Its simple logic. The same userbase that bought all PS1 RE games would be buying them on PS2, sales would have most likely gone up not down. RE3 sold over 3 million on PS1. The first next gen RE game on PS2 would have done better than that guaranteed, probably 4 million, 4x what it made on GC.
CoD would sell anywhere!!! It sold a million copies on my calculator. The fact that it just sold a million is pathetic. Yes look at RS2 it was clearly better than RS1 in every way and yet sold worse. Not even the same genre my ass, you are grasping at straws. Of course Tiger Woods sold best on wii, thats the kind of stuff that sold best on wii. Star Wars Force Unleashed came out on all consoles guess which one sold worse, Wii version! Despite the gigantic userbase.
That's how it is in theory, but you had a ton of 3rd parties that went bankrupt. So no they don't go where the money is.
The Wii U has just been in the market for a little more than a year. If you want fast look at the 3ds, Nintendo went in Panic mode pretty quickly there.
Good third party support? So you expect people to buy the Wii U, because it has games they have already played a year before? And sometimes sloppy ports at that! Mass Effect? That is your example?! Are you even reading what shit you are writing? Where was Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite and all the others? That would be decent 3rd party support. What they got on the Wii U was shit.
Well simple, Nintendo's greatest strength is also their greatest weakness. Look at it this way. We have 3 equal consoles. One is from Nintendo. Third parties will always have to compete with their 1st party games. For the other two consoles, you don't have that. Sure they might port over the games if it is easy enough, but it would never be their top priority.
And there is of course a stigma that hardcore games do not sell well on Nintendo's consoles. But that is a chicken and a egg situation!
Oh and the Xbox one was a love letter to 3rd parties not the PS4. But the consumers said fuck no, and they changed it! Consoles are made for the consumers not 3rd parties! on't forget that!
And the PS2 had a userbase that was 7x the size of the GC user base. So selling just 4 million would be bad, according to your simple logic. Maybe people were tired of the mainline RE with their prerendered graphics and fixed camera angles? How about that? We will never know. Reminds my of people that claimed No More Heroes would sell way more on the 360/PS3 than on the Wii. It was released on those consoles and it sold even less. Simple logic does not apply, for the market is not as simpleminded as you are!
CoD was sent to die and it still sold a million, but it was clearly the inferior version besides controls. RS2 has nothing and I repeat nothing to do with RS1. RS2 was not a shooter, you dolt. It was a fist person sword fighting game. The game released way too late after RS1, the graphical style was different, the gameplay was different and RS1 poisoned that well. Calling it RS2 was stupid. The games had nothing to do with each other. The only common ground was they both featured katana's!
Yes Tiger Wood is the kind of game that sells the best on the Wii. A game where the developer actually put effort in it and uses the strengths of the Wii. A game where they do not threat their audience like idiots. Force Unleashed you say? Did that game use the strength of the Wii? Why would someone buy an inferior version of that game?
1) Red Steel was considered crap by most
2) They changed the graphical style to niche appeal
3) It didn't have the momentum of a launch title FPS with the Wiimote

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI was quite happy with third-party support on the Gamecube. Toward the end it got messy, but for the first few years they got plenty of support.
Though when it comes to SNES, N64 and GC I'm a bit of a fanboy.
And it required a Motion Plus to play.
I'm thinking of getting a Fitbit to monitor when I sleep. I keep passing out at random hours on the weekend and never really have an idea of how many hours I lose.
Need to re-buy a Vita first though (I wouldn't bother but I have Dragon's Crown and Tearaway to play on it).
My illness is now at least entertaining me. I sound like when those guitarists run their voices through a guitar:
Why not wait for the dongle instead? Or are neither compatible with it?
The Vita Play? Not a bad idea at all.
But given that we are in Australia, and they don't even display Vita's or the software in EBGames any more I doubt they'll bring the Vita Play down here.
It has not been annonced for the West yet, Sony may see it as too much of a distraction for the PS4 marketing message (whereas in Japan is was used to opposite effect - to draw attention away from the delayed PS4 launch).
This is what Amazon and Play Asia are for.
I read only this:
And then Foolz' reply:
I resent Tom Brady being in that pic.
And I'm sick of hearing people gloat over Peyton fucking Manning. If Tom Brady had the weapons that Manning has been surrounded with his entire career, Brady would have won like 8 super bowls. The only year he did have weapons like Manning, he went 18 & 1.
Unfortunately, the Patriots ownership are becoming like 80's Red Sox ownership....lets only pay for 2 star players and fill the rest in with low paid bargain bin guys...yeah that will be good enough yeah.
REmake would have sold 3 times more on PS2, and looked 3 times worse as well. I show you a picture of the PS2's best looking game in the REmake art style:
Onimusha 2, made also by Capcom. This actually came out AFTER REmake also...and this is the best they could do. Looks nice, but compared to this?
I've never played onimushu. Does it have static backgrounds?
