It's great once you get used to it, with a touchscreen. But good luck installing old programs or devices with it....
I picked up a Bowling for Wii Sports Club. I bowled one warm-up round with the boy to get the feel of the game again. Seems like there might be some slight adjustments to the motion controls since Sports Resort, but nothing too dramatic. Anyway after I felt I was ready I joined Club Florida and got into an online game again a guy from New Jersey. He pretty much handed me my ass. I let my state and club down. The good news though was there was zero lag (not that you'd really notice it in a bowling game). This was around 10 AM and it took me about 30 seconds to get the match up and running. So far this is working quite nicely.
Bowling and Golf for that matter seems like a good game to play online. Lag should not be a problem, because you play in turns. But something like Tennis and Kendo will be much more difficult to manage!
Yep, bowling and golf were the two games I was looking forward to really playing anyway. Tennis and Archery were next on the list. I'll check out Tennis later this afternoon with the trial and see if the lag is an issue for that.
It depends on what country you are playing against.
If you are playing against friends it might have some lag André from GameXplain played against Nintendaan and they had some lag playing tennis but they didn't really have lag playing bowling. André is located in San Francisco and I think Nintendaan is located in either Netherlands or Denmark.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Yeah I played a German so maybe if I played within the UK the lag would be lower. I was on 1mbps internet though.
Finished Tomb Raider last night. By the end of it I wanted to protect the bad guys instead of Lara.
Good game?
I just upgraded my sight powers in Deus Ex, cool shit, it uses the gyros, you move the pad about and can see characters through walls.
Eh it gets the job done I guess. The game has you shooting more shit than climbing it, actual tomb raiding is completely optional and not necessary to progress through the game. Game's fast paced because of that but it turns into a shooting gallery. At least its weapons are fun to use. Characters are mostly unlikeable and the main antagonist is obnoxious and boring. Also QTEs, its abundance irked me. It was really pretty, though. And it doesn't overstay its welcome provided you don't want to do everything. I would recommend it but not at full price, only discounted or used.
Dayaaaaam I thought this was GOTY?
How does it compare to Uncharted?
Canada - Best Buy/FutureShop offering amazing deal - trade ANY game, get ACIV or CoD:G for free
Seriously...this is an insane deal. Check out the confirmation of this deal straight from a FutureShop board admin...
Bring a copy of ANY used Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or the Wii U game (one that works and has the original jewel case) and you can trade it in for a (Xbox360, PS3 or WiiU) version of: Assassin’s Creed IV, Call of Duty: Ghosts or Battlefield 4.
^^holy shit! that is amazing!,
Uncharted has it handily beaten in regards to characters, dialogue, writing and shooting. Tomb Raider has the upper hand in platforming, climbing mechanics, and puzzles.
Mass murderer? I have no idea what you're talking about, Steel.
I finally found and installed Win 8.1. It's a LOT better now.
Wow! Super Luigi U is the real deal. It's balls hard.
I enjoyed nslU, but I don't know if I'd call it hard. It's more challenging than your average nsmb game, but I breezed through most levels. From the little I played of dkc returns, I'd say dk is a lot more challenging than nslU.
I found DKR to be challenging, but not hard. The only thing hard about DKR was trying to get those damned waggle controls to work when you needed them. Luigi U is a lot harder to me.
