That gog sale has Pandemonium 1 & 2 and Soul Reaver 1 & 2 for $2.39 each. Very tempting, especially Pandemonium series.

In thinking about it, what EA does (and MS and the rest) in terms of their aquisitions is actually very common in business. In the past I've had several competitors who made aquisitions of smaller companies just for the customer list, even just for one notable customer. Then within 18-24 months the employess and assetts are gone. Invariably all the good employees left at hand-over or shortly thereafter.
Sucks for the customers, but as a practice it lets the original owners cash out and the take-over company gets a hit of revenue and hopes that they can retain at least 10-15% of the ongoing revenue.
