Speaking of the Conduit, I think I want to start a Kickstarter to let High Voltage finish The Grinder.
The first was so average I never got the sequel. The best controlling wii fps are Medal of Honour Heroes 2, which has revelatory analogue lean and wii remote rotation for sniping which works excellently. And other than red steel 2, Black ops and conduit. MWarfare is pretty decent mostly due to camera lock so you can aim literally like a light gun with no screen rotation.Ah okay. Are those that much better than Metroid Prime 3?
How do you not mention Goldeneye?
Controls yes. Game design no.
Why go all that way to be disappointed?
On my new PC Witcher 2 runs at like 50 frames per second with everything maxed out. But my old machine (the one I was crossfiring two Wii U based GPU's in) could only run the game smooth if I turned a bunch of the good stuff way way down. As I said, really the 1st next-gen game.
I don't know about other levels, but in the demo level, it works just fine, in my opinion:
PS3's touch-like controls begin at 1:12.
After watching the same level on Wii U, all you get to control is Murphy in the touch sections. The AI controls all of the character's platforming once Murphy is activated (starting at 3:25).
In PS3, you control both characters at the same time. I think prefer PS3's method. It does make me wonder why they didn't offer PS Move support, at least as an option.
I haven't had a genuinally epic disappointment in several years. I need something to look forward to and utterly disappointment me. Keeps me humble.
No
Yes and no. Prime 3 doesn't demand much of you in FPS terms with the lock on and camera lock. When it comes to Wii IR FPS controls there are two aspects, movement controls and finer aim down sights control. MOHH2 movement controls are pretty decent with tweaking but the ADS and enhanced controls with leaning and scopes is superb. I prefer shooters with full camera lock, though this can restrict your movement either rooted to the spot or strafing. COD blops controls are probably the best combined controls, as all you had to do was tweak the turn speed. The ADS is pretty superb there but the game is crud. Red Steel 2 got aiming help from Retro studios and there is a subtle but noticeable aiming assist and cursor smoothing. Conduit had very good movement and aiming but lacked the enhanced MOHH2 moves and the natural accuracy of BLOPS. I don't mention Goldeneye because although it's probably the best FPS of the generation to me (love the Bond world and stealth action mix and nostalgia) - the controls are just decent. The camera lock only worked in a small invisible rectangle in the middle of the screen and the aiming was slightly chaotic with the movement and action. It adds to the gameplay, scrambling about the level as your cover is destroyed but the controls are shown up somewhat on the last level when you have to defend a control room in chaos. So is there vehicle combat in Crysis 2? Anyone DLed Crysis 1 on 360? Is it ass or not? The port I mean.
So the game situation here seems dire to me. Since our only nationwide game store halved it stores there's nothing near me. The only option is supermarkets and the selection is shit. I went out today to pick up W101 or Blacklist and there was not a single U game on the shelf. Much has been mades of the dire U sales in the UK but what I see is from day 1, no store presence whatsoever. You can't just show up at a store and find a single game or console. There were 15, 360 games about 5 ps3 games. Walked up and down the road about 2 miles, exhausted, not one shop on the high street even sold games. Thankfully a used only game store setup about 3 miles away. I'm not a fan of buying used, but their prices are as low as bargain basement internet prices. So I can see myself using it a lot. As long as the discs aren't too funky. Kinda weird the industry bemoans used sales yet closes stores, so used stores are one of the only impulse buy outlets for 5 square miles.
It's pretty fun. Looks like ass, but you knew it would. I need to get back to it and finish it.
Yeah the game itself is great, but the visuals are horrible on 360. I do not know what some reviewers were smoking trying to say it looked as good as the PC game, or the controls were better. No vehicle stuff in Crysis 2...from what I recall.
LOL
What's the framerate like?Me playing Game of Thrones...this game is pretty damn fun so far...why the bad reviews?
There's a control option for vehicles in the menu? Anyone know what sizes of HDD you can get to fit the core 360? And what do you need to get online, ethernet cable and then what?I do not remember using vehicles in Crysis 2 man....the 1st game yes. Maybe its just multi-player? Or maybe I just forgot...lol
It seems like it was a steady 30,but its been a while since I played.
Rayman Legends will be $60 for all home consoles, but only $40 on Steam. WTF? I'm downloading the Steam demo to see if my PC can handle it.
Everybody here will be PC only soon. Lol
