I finally beat Skyrim's main quest today. Good times were had, after 140+ hours. I'll return to it once I get the DLC on the cheap, but as of now, my brave redguard is retired. To hang out at his place in Lakeview Manor with his two kids and his wife.
You want me to go to cock valley?
So much walking, my feet hurt. You cant cross the street on the strip and there is a bridge like every mile. So if you want to see whats on the other side of the street it takes forever. The street level is insane, its like a poor mans NYC but a bit more wierd. You walk over bums with some nice sense of humor like one holding a sign saying "I need gas for my lamborgini". There are old mexican men handing you hooker cards. Street magicians, musicians, rappers trying to sell their cds, Bumblebee, and drunk people is just a sampling of what I saw. I was shocked at how many kids are around, its not exactly a family friendly place.
I stayed at the south side of the strip. Went to the MGM Grand, Aria, New York, and Monte Carlo. I lost $20 at the MGM Grand. But later in the night I made over $100 in roulette at New York.I am plus $60 so far. I know I am a high roller. All the casinos are HUGE, and its always packed, its crazy. All the hotels are well themed and seem like really nice places to stay. Tomorrow I will try to catch a show if the price is right (and I win more money)
I was dead after walking for like 3 hours straight, the problem was that I had no clue how to get back to the garage I was parked in. There are all these walkways and malls I had to go through, drunk people to get around but I made it. I must say its awesome that all parking is free but the strip is a traffic nightmare. Still its an amazing place though the reality is not as glamorous as the movies show (unless you are rich and stick to VIP areas)
It also helps when you don't really care how many of your pikmin perrish. Everyone's saying it hits an emotional string when you see their spirit whisp away, but for some reason it doesn't do anything to me. I played about 15 days I think and already 200 pikmin have given their lives for the greater good. It stings when I check the end-of-day charts and I see I've lost 20 or more in a day, but that's it.
Cock Valley? That's my favorite dressing!
I like spreading it on liberally after having my salad tossed!
As long as I stay connected my ISP cannot slow me after I have used 15 GB. So far I have downloaded 37 GB from Steam!
BWAH HA HA HA!
You can do it!
Keep it going.
Ok with Skyrim wrapped up for the time being, I believe it's time to scratch that modding itch once again, and what better candidate to do it than Fallout 3? Never played it much on 360 anyway. Now, if only the fucking Nexus site wasn't completely ass and allowed me to download the necessary mods for a FO3 experience that is customized and tailored to suit my delicate and demanding palate.

And what mod is going to please your delicate, and un-relenting palate?
Besides essential shit like FO mod manager, FO script extender and user interface stuff, the first thing I'm trying out is FO3 Wanderer's Edition. A monster of a mod that is actually a compilation of some 50 mods put together in order to completely overhaul the way the game plays and behaves. Basically this is what it sets out to do, according to the mod's description blurb.
I would but... I fear ther ewill be massive fiscal retribution. That somewhere, deep in the terms of service, I am getting charged $100 a GB... We'll find out, I looked up my usage and there was a n ominous message on there
I was hoping you were going to say some kind of Brazil Mardi Gras mod involving swapping out all carts for phallic shaped carnivale floats.
Oh shit. Abort. ABORT!
Well, there's a mod out there called Quo Vagis (I shit you not). Might be interesting to check out too.
Fuck you, Reggie!
