Seems a tad expensive and I'm in no immediate need of moar NSMB. They did redo every damn level in the game, but changing a few assets position around isn't really a big deal to me.
But you can't tell how old anyone is with friendly Mii avatars. I casually threw out a question to my friends which will appear in their activity feeds, if anyone was getting Animal Crossing. This woman - I assume says "I'm not on your friends list but I am playing it" I casually ask back "Want to exchange friend codes and play?" thinking, turnips, items, harmless fun and it gets deleted by mods and I get sent a threatening warning message. I have been modded like 6 times on that thing for totally innocuous things.
A lot of mods with hawk eyes. On Miiverse turds report you for nothing and the mods just delete your stuff and send you a blank terms of service reply. You can't even debate or explain what you meant or how you actually didn't violate any terms of service, you can only reply "I understand" or "I didn't violate" and then they check again and come with with "Yeah you did" in a more formal way. Then threaten further violations could see you banned. BANNED from Miiverse. One of Robios douche MH3 buddies reported me for calling Robio a Jerk-face as a joke. Nevermind that we are registered as friends or anything.... or that I posted a laughing avatar.... I got modded by dicks.
It's shit like this why GG doesn't online game!
I would be banned from Miiverse within a week.
Games TM Reviews;
. The Last of Us - 9/10: "In the PS3's dying light, Naughty Dog has crafted one of this generation's true marvels."
. Fuse - 7/10: "Fun with friends, but shallow when solo."
. Remember Me - 6/10: "For all it's many flaws what's most aggravating about Remember Me is that there's clearly a masterpiece buried somewhere inside it."
. Animal Crossing: New Leaf - 8/10: "New Leaf is the Animal Crossing sequel veterans will have been hoping for, doubling down on elements that allow for genuine self-expression within this pocket universe."
. Soul Sacrifice - 6/10: "A distinctly Japanese curio that will find a moderate audience, but not the console-defining experience the PS Vita is still desperately searching for."
. GRID 2 - 8/10: "On a mechanical level it is the perfect blend of arcade and simulation, but ultimately we need a little more for it to be a must-have racer."
. Far Cry: Blood Dragon - 8/10: "The overall package lacks the coherency and polish of its mainline predecessor, but Blood Dragon is a meaty, gratifying dose of excess that refuses to pander to subtlety."
. Resident Evil: Revelations - 7/10: "This is the best way to experience Revelations, but it's too indecisive about it's approach and not nearly polished enough to work it's way into the must-play category."
. Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine - 8/10: "Expertly crafted and sometimes witheringly difficult."
. Don't Starve - 8/10: "It's a game that just keeps on giving, even as it tears your life from you."
. Surgeon Simulator 2013 - 6/10: "Surgeon Simulator is rather a lot of fun, all things considered, and is certainly the sort of thing to show off to your friends."
. Slender: The Arrival - 5/10: "Stylish and shocking, but ultimately one dimensional."
. The Starship Damrey - 2/10: "A chore from start to finish."
. Poker Night 2 - 6/10: "Fun enough, but it sadly lacks depth."
. Star Command - 7/10: "An uneven slice of sci-fi homage."
. Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D - 8/10: "The strongest example of a retro reprieve that Nintendo have put out in recent years."
. Tekken Card Tournament - 5/10: "Worth investigating, but flaws deter long-term play."
. Guacamelee! - 8/10: "A Day of the Dead tribute to Samus & Friends."
. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger - 7/10: "There isn't much to it once you get past the unique storytelling, but the simple shooting is so satisfying that it's still quite easy to recommend."
NO MORE F-ZERO!? Herresy! Burn their eyes! Burn their corpses! Burn their headquarters! That's it, I'm buying an X1. No wait. I'll buy a thousand! And sink ships with shipments of Nintendo hardware on them!
...
You guys play MH3? Bah, I skipped on that game because I had no one to play it with and I figured it'd get old real fast on my own.
I haven't unlocked half of this stuff. I want to go to the island nao!
Today is the summer solstice
Bear and Robio do.
What's with this new idea shit Miyamoto is spouting? Mario Kart is hardly flushed with new ideas every time. And what's with the inhouse BS? Sure Starfox didn't turn out well but F-Zero GX was the most awesome racing game, ever.
Maybe 3rd parties just aren't inclined to work on Nintendo exclusives anymore? With the amount of manpower next gen requires, I could see everyone being stripped for resources. Still, it's something odd to say. And in no way a valid excuse as to why we won't see anymore of their superb arcade racers.
I clearly remember Miyamoto talking shit about F Zero GX simply because it didn't sell well. He put it in the same category as Star Fox Assault and said "fans weren't happy with these games, they sold poorly" or some shit like that.
Sadly it's true, the sales are why we aren't seeing them anymore.
Namco is doing Smash and I'm sure F5 would have loved to make a Starfox game. Kamiya wants to make one.
The following is a real picture:

It's even staring at the woman's tits.
I played through most of the game solo, and never felt it get old (except maybe when I was grinding for armor). There's a good online community for the game for when you want to team up, and really other than deciding which monster you need to go after you don't need to communicate too much. So working with strangers isn't unpleasant.... at least until you get that 12 year old kid who still considers an in-game microphone the coolest thing in the world. Fortunately you can turn mics off.
Can't blame him.
Thing is I put close to 200 hours in Tri on the Wii, co-op with a good friend. It just wouldn't be the same. I loved every minute of it, but having to do most of it all over before reaching most of the new content, and going at it alone, would be asking too much of me. Let alone the fact that I have far less gaming time available now then I did only 2 years ago.
There is no save data transfer?
A lack of new ideas sure doesn't stop them from making lots Zelda and Mario games. Why doesn't he just tell us the truth? F-Zero sold like shit compared to Nintendo's other more popular franchises, which is why they are not going to make them anymore.
