Speaking of REmake, I would really REALLY dig it if Capcom would release an HD version of that on the Wii U in widescreen and with Gamepad support...maybe in a package with RE Zero. These games still hold up insanely well:
So long as they leave those evil dogs out. They really freaked me out

You want a remake of remake? Capcom already ported them to Wii. Again.
They should just do RE2 in RE4 style.
No not a remake...just an enhanced HD release with widescreen and Gamepad support.
And NO to RE2 done over like RE4! I would want it done over in its original style, just like REmake. It would never be as good though, simply because Mikami and his team wouldn't be doing it.
I was quite confused by RE2, RE3 and RECV on gamecube. They weren't actual remakes with new asets were they? Were they just "enhanced" ports? They were always hugely expensive to buy even second hand.

They haven't ported it to XBLA and PSN yet?
Those were ports. The only remake was the first game.
Even now after completing Lego City I am still watching videos from it on youtube and chuckling. I'm still reading the comments from the GAF thread (starts around page 36)
I'm jealous that you get to play it from the start Bugs. I wish I could mind wipe and start it over again.
I'm quite looking forward to it. A bit worried about whether I'll stick with it long enough to witness what's so good about it. I'm notoriously bad at completing open-world games. The only GTA I finished is the DS one. If it's infectious like that one, I will surely love it.

It's funny, most of the reviewers had to just plow through the campaign - so all the 9/10 and 8/10 reviews were based on seeing about a third of the game. NintendoLife said they had "completed it" in 18 hours, then said they played another 7 hours on top and were only 33% complete, I was laughing because they were 25 hrs in and nowhere near seeing or getting everything. It's only once you get that addicted feeling and you start to try and 100% it that everything just clicks.
EDIT - There is a good post here about Nintendo's involvement with the project.
Can I play with madness? The Evil Within and the return of survival horror
Survival horror is a genre in crisis. Its most surprising jolts have become clichés, its core elements have been compromised by the inexorable march towards AAA action. Where once players would fire every bullet reluctantly, conscious that each shot wasted might be the difference between life and death minutes later, now our horror heroes march into battle with customised machine guns, mowing down the monsters with impugnity.
The Evil Within aims to reset the genre compass. How much of the game will be spent running, and how much will be spent fighting? "You'll be running. A lot," deadpans the game's US producer, Jason Bergman. "The emphasis is on scaring the hell out of you."

Former RARE dev says Donkey Kong 64 needed the expansion pak to avoid a game-breaking glitch
- the game featured a glitch that caused it to "randomly crash...in the 4 meg only version" w
- this glitch didn't occur with the Expansion Pak installed
- this forced RARE to include the memory expansion for free
- this "cost [RARE] a fortune."
- this move worked in Perfect Dark's favor, as that game "definitely needed it"
Er, wow.
Looks very Galaxy-ish. Or Sonic Extreme?
Sonic Galaxy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its sonic xtreme meets galaxy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wii u greatest console ever!!!!!!!!!
Looking at the gameplay it wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo gave SEGA the Mario Galaxy engine to use, there is too much similarity. Reminds me of that Yoshi speed gameplay in Mario Galaxy 2.
Ok Guys I need opinions, Is the new DMC game worth $25? 600 for the new xbone wtf? I'm hoping for a 400 PS4 I refuse to pay more than that.
Everyone seemed to love it. I'd say that if you enjoyed Heavenly Sword and Enslaved (made by the same people), or the DMC franchise, it's a no-brainer at $25.
Could someone explain what involvement, if any, Nintendo has had with the new Sonic game?
No involvement whatsoever. Sonic Team is the dev, and Sega is the publisher.
Bear YES!
According to most of the articles after the Nintendo Direct it said that SEGA handed the publishing and distribution rights over to Nintendo for that three game exclusive deal.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
it's onsale on PC Origin 24.99 think it will be cheaper I'm going to wait.
Wikipedia says Sega is the publisher, and Wikipedia is never wrong.![Nyaa](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
