I don't run them on different tv's GG....I run them on the same tv, just switching the input from video 1 to video 2 or whatever.
I also don't have an old HDTV....I just got it last year. Whatever the reason, the game does not look or play as well on the U.
http://technocrate.net/2009/06/26/playstation-3-full-range-rgb-over-hdmi-explanation-test/ and this - http://www.gadgetoid.com/2008/01/20/the-ps3-rgb-full-range-hdmi-fiasco/
On (some) monitors limited range HDMI is not displayed correctly giving washed out colours and a brighter gamma. It doesn't affect everyone, it depends on how your tv handles it. Note - I'm not blaming you tv, I'm not blaming Capcom - Wii U outputs at limited range and for some tv's it means less vibrant colours. There's also the gamma pass, Trine 2 was identified by Digital Foundry as having a slightly washed out look which they only noticed looking at video output. The developer investigated and found there was an unnecessary extra gamma pass. Once they removed and patched it, the blacks, contrast and colours all became richer and more vibrant on my tv. It also drastically improved the wii u pad colours too. Two weird things about some wii u software so far - an extra gamma - and forced v sync with UE3 which can reduce framerates but eliminates tearing. PS3 and 360 drops vsync to maintain a solid framerate and allows some tearing usually at the top or bottom of the screen where it goes mostly unnoticed, whereas most U games forcibly lock it - something to do with development tools or perhaps dual video output.

So you are saying it is the Wii Us problem for not having that color thing.
BTW I didnt notice the colors, what I noticed was the difference in frame rate.
Hurry up and play the new stuff.
Chasing Charles Lee in assassins creed 3 - am I going crazy or do they always do a burning building in these moments? I'm torn on this game, somehow it's semi-enjoyable despite a fuckton of flaws. If I ever get AC4 it will definitely be hobo price.
THIS GAME F****** SUCKS! - Chasing Charles Lee
Here is the final word on Wii U; get it for the Nintendo exclusives! Right now they are in short supply, they will come, but don't fool yourself 3rd party games for the most part are better looking playing and sounding on 7 year old hardware including PC,360,PS3 insome cases Vita. Thats my take on it. I'm going to keep just for the Nintendo games, but never expect it to be my main gaming platform. These simple thoughts will allow me to enjoy it without getting too bitter how crappy Nintendo has handled 3rd party support.
I never had an issue with colors. Revelation Wii U is not as smooth as the PS3 version. PERIOD.
^
Great. I think my PS3 controller is broken. There's something rattling inside.
EDIT: Well, it still seems to be working fine, but that rattling is going to drive me nuts.
This has always happened to me with PS controllers. Pieces of plastic tend to break off inside if you drop it too many times, but it usually keeps working fine.
This gets me pumped for Revelations.
Her moose knuckle is showing!
It's been 15 minutes and the Ac3 credits will not end.
Just finished my 19th game this year!
