I'd play the Wii version, the whole point of it is the controls.  It's my favorite Dead Space game.

Retro City Rampage dude reveals his sales and profits:

Retro City Rampage has performed well for its developer, Brian Provinciano, and he shares where the game had its most success, and which platform he would have skipped in retrospect.

You can see the breakdown of copies sold on which platforms, and how much he made below:

• 35,000+ units PSN ($600,000)
• 40,000+ units PC ($400,000)
• 15,000 units XBLA ($200,000)
• < 5,000 units WiiWare (< $100,000)
• Provinciano told Joystiq that the game  is sitting at around 97,000 total sold, and it should break 100,000 very soon. The PlayStation 3 and Vita versions of the game are where he made his largest profits, even if it wasn't where he sold the most copies. This is something Provinciano has said before. It also looks like the Wii version of the game did better than he expected, considering originally he expected that version of the game to make no profit.

• Provinciano also said that he spent most of his time on the Xbox Live Arcade port of the game and it ended up being the most expensive of the four versions of the game. Provinciano said, "Knowing what I know now, I would've skipped it."

Yeah GG you have some weird shit going on...you don't feel like this for 2 months or collapse TWICE in one day just from needing rest...if that was the case most of us would be in the same situation. You need to see a doc that knows what he's doing.

It wasn't always free, and yeah Sony would have paid him in some way (which explains why he loves Sony so much and was down on XBLA -- if one wanted to be cynical about it).

They could have helped with development costs, gave him a lump sum, based it on downloads at a discounted bulk rate, paid some marketing costs or even given a commitment for his next project... who knows?  But he would have been paid.

I agree, I wish more developers gave out this information.

EDIT: If you do some division he "made" $17 a copy on PSN.  That would have to be revenue, not profit. But it does give the idea that he was indeed paid for every copy downloaded, either directly from consumers or through the PSN+ promo.

Does it have controller support on Steam Foolz? I notice you have it. It's a small download too.
