Hey guys, I played with the Wii U controller at Target last night!
I didn't even know it was there...my girlfriend pointed it out while I was browsing the PC games. There were no playable demo, only videos. But all fears I may have had about the Gamepad were laid to rest; This thing is awesome. The best controller Nintendo has ever made, hands down! It fits perfectly in your hands, all the buttons are easy to hit and right where they should be. The click ins on the sticks feel great and the screen is beautiful. Its very light as well....lighter than a 360 controller. Its not anywhere near as heavy as it looks like it would be.
I cannot wait until next sunday!
I played the demo again on Thursday and appreciated it a bit better, but still I wasn't down with the gameplay. But the visuals here look so packed with personality I think I would just enjoy seeing it all and interacting with the art.
Put it on ebay and Dyack has to buy it back.
Wish they had just continued to work on Wii. For a start Wii would have been better off for it, but also they would be better off for it, expanding on their GC engine work and having Nintendo there to guide them, they would also benefit from lower development costs and probably would have made more games. F5 made Lair and died, SK basically died after Too Human. Rare is just..... well they did better but they still aren't the company they used to be in terms of game output.
Lighter than a 360 pad? Does not compute. That's awesome. Is the screen big enough? How did you find the responsiveness of the touch screen?
The Wii U screens of the day are actually 360/ps3 applicable too
Just remember that the Wii U version has IR and the PS3 version has move support.
No USA 3DS owners tried out the Epic Mickey demo yet?
Fuuuuuuuuu the musiicccc. It's from Castle of Illusion.
We've heard from epic and then from ubisoft that their next gen games will have versions on current gen too, be dual releases. So I guess if that were to happen with Halo 5 they could share assets I suppose. But with exclusives its less likely to happen. MS would want to push H5 on Nextbox to show what the machine can do.

Look closely.
What?
Well I am officially out of the Wii U launch group. Just got a nasty repair bill on my car. Can't justify a new console at this point. *insert random Japanese profanities*
In other news I'm sticking with Persona 3 until this game gets finished.
Lollipop Chainsaw: The Porno (probably NSFW)
Let's see Lollipop was released back in June right? So it took 5 months for a porn of it to get made? Jeez their slacking. There was already Wreck-It Ralph Hentai 4 months before the movie was released. The Japanese are really starting to slip.
That sounds like a plan. I'm not terribly broken up about it. The main launch game I wanted isn't coming until 2013 anyway. Plus the way I look at it is thanks to pre-ordering two of them, I can sell both on eBay now and the car repair bill will be at least halfed.
I think it'll depend on if MS is able to launch the 720 next year. Last month there were a bunch of rumors flying around that there was some issue with some of the microchips they ordered, and it could cause some production problems for a 2013 release? Seemed pretty legit and I never heard it anything denying it. Should that happen they'll have to have some big game to compete during the holidays.
