Confirmed. New IP, new RPG they want to make something on scale with Fallout 3
It is an rpg, don't know about the budget but they said they want to match Bethesda for scale and graphics.
So it's confirmed.
Nobody actually reads my posts. Vader on Bayonetta, wish they would save Shenmue 3!
Quick, link your wii shop account with a nintendo.com account, you can do this through the wii menu. It then logs all the VC and WiiWare games you have downloaded. When you buy your Wii U link your U account with your Nintendo.com account and you should be able to re-download all your software. I did this with my Wii when they sent me a new unit with new serial number etc and it worked out beautifully.
Seriously, that is majorly fucked up. I could be playing Cyberrnator on the gamepad screen. Or Super Star Wars. They fucked it and better fix it through the OS, I mean they have 2GB of RAM to use and a system vastly outpowering Wii and they cannot even send a wireless video signal to the pad like they can with actual Wii U games?
Either reaction would freak me out. Boundaries.
I want to know what Treyarch mean when they said that Blops 2 would run in "full HD, 60 FPS" on Wii U. Is full HD 1080p or it he inferring the other versions are sub 720p like Halo 3 etc and many other games.
Until someone pluses your post.
Mario Versus Pac-Man. (Animated gif).
Well, it was terrifying while it lasted.
Classy
that's amazing.
Activision says BLOPS 2 wii u " features the most advanced textures, lighting and shadowing systems in series history" ?
Pikmin spotted
Aha! I was right...the controller stand is for using it as a map and shit for games like Pikmin while using one of the other controllers for play.
Okay I have not heard Activision 100% confirm this, they did 100% say that Wii U BLOPs 2 runs at "full HD 60 FPS"
I have read some forum comments saying:
"Yes ... and definitely native 1080p , no crappy upscaling."
"it does show the Wii U's capabilities, especially considering that the resolutions on the 360 and PS3 have always been sub-HD that has been upscaled. The fact that the Wii U version is full HD would show the console to be potentially more powerful than the other two."
Also it spits out a 60FPS 480p image to the touch screen whilst doing this?
I would like to get proper confirmation from Activision, I think they mean that it's 720p on Wii U and the other versions are sub HD like usual. But the Wii U screens are all 1080p
One new pic:
I can't believe people are still acting like they aren't sure if its more powerful than a 360.
The 360 is like 4 Radeon generations behind the U...nevermind the cpu.
NGamers reaction to the Bayonetta 2 hate:
"I also remember the outrage felt by my Nintendo-loving mates when Squaresoft announced that Final Fantasy VII wouldn’t be arriving on the Nintendo 64 after all and that they’d made the jump to PlayStation, or the anger felt when Microsoft bought Rare. So to suggest that yesterday’s outbursts were the first ever incident of “butthurt” ever felt by a set of video game fans would be as mindless as some of the imbeciles that spouted their nonsense last night.
However, back then the internet was but a mere foetus, and the ability to spread this rubbish was severely limited. Back then I had one knob in my class who was adamant that Sega would be on top for the next 30 years because they had the “magnificent” Ecco The Dolphin (true story), but I was comforted by the knowledge that his ramblings wouldn’t even travel as far as the next classroom. Now such idiocy can be quickly slapped online for thousands to see, even more if websites pick up on it and quote it (um, like we just did at the start of this article)."
Vader was this you?
I think they mean that it's 720p on Wii U and the other versions are sub HD like usual. But the Wii U screens are all 1080p. Full HD is a term used to describe 1080p right? Activision said it, maybe the guy was like a clueless PR dude? The screens are all 1080p though
EDIT:
Finally, Activision says that the Wii U version is capable of running at 60fps in 1080p, even while playing online. That may not be the case when you’re playing on the TV and also streaming to the GamePad, but at least it’ll run at 60fps most of the time
This can't be right? 360 used half the RAM just for the OS and only had 256 for games? If true and I doubt it, no wonder Ancel said Wii U had an enormous memory, the 1gb Wii U RAM dedicated to games is 4X as much and the 2GB as a whole is 8 times as much useable RAM.
Really?
I was wondering how 007 Legends U version might sell compared 360/PS3 so I looked up some Goldeneye sales
PS3 sold better cause of Move? Wii sales are pretty great, on par with COD Wii games. Wish they would put reloaded on U with IR support.
Transformers Prime:
"The game utilizes the power of the Wii U, featuring dazzling visuals in 1080p resolution"
Story in the updates says COD Black OPs 2 is 1080p 60FPS on Wii U, I still think it's 720p though.
From IGNs BLOPS 2 video preview:
From the video:
"Say I want to use the Wii Remote/Nunchuck or the Pro Controller, I can still use the Gamepad as a secondary screen, even though I'm not using it as a controller and I can use it to see the map and adjust all the control schemes."
