This is encouraging though:
At the end of last year we heard the GPU would be 'more current' to 2012 features when it was finalised, it sounds good here. One thing GAF has brought up is that the article makes no allowances for the seperate sound chip - the lack of which ate up the 360s CPU.
Plus this post from a dev working on Wii U suggests the CPU has been changed:
Pitchford said it was 'a really great processor' because it was late in the cycle, I'd like him to explain why.
The kotaku piece says that the RAM is now 2gb, not 1.5gb.
"The new system's 1:1 pixel mode should make original DS cartridges, DSiWare games and 3DS Virtual Console titles more crisp and clear when compared to the "blurry" effect the first 3DS applies to those game's visuals."
But what about normal 3DS games? If the screen is 90% bigger will the system just stretch the game to cover the big screen making everything blurrier?
Really think I don't want an XL. Thing looks as big as my netbook. No.

Seems like the Wii U is basically this gens Dreamcast, as in a nice step up over current machines but not quite up to new tech. That's not necessarily a terrible thing.
Depends how much of a window it's allowed by Sony and Microsoft. By the looks of it it'll probably have something like 2 years (unless we're all taken by surprise), so hopefully a bit longer than the Dreamcast to establish itself and build a larger userbase

The Wii U wont be a step up on current machines while to me the DC was the biggest leap in graphics consoles have ever had. I was never more shocked at graphics in my life till I saw NFL2K and Sonic on display.
You never had an N64 though. So you went from 32 bit to 128 bit in one jolt.
I had seen enough of the N64, it was nowhere close to the DC.
Holy shit. Does anyone other than me find this infuriating. If their internal stas show that players are not finishing the game then FIX YOUR GAME before it is released: (IO on Hitman story above).
"20 percent of the players will see the last level of the game. It's horrible to know. It makes the people working on it really really sad," explained director Tore Blystad."
I like this guy -- Tekken Producer story above : (He says a lot more and gives a lot more detail, but this is good advice) :
“I have something I want to say to the people who spam me with requests to "switch back(or Bring back) to the voice actors used previously".
I believe that, before whining and complaining about everything, you need practice at taking a step back and analyzing things objectively. And also at being an adult."

8 out of 10. If I were a Eurogamer review I'd be as good as it gets.
From all time greats to those ringless guys? I know durant will be an all time great the other two not so sure.
