Yeah there is an ending, but just because you see the ending doesn't mean you've done the whole game. You can play maybe 50% and then get the ending. There are a ton of secrets and cool events to trigger, stuff to collect. I would reccomend a faq, once you think you have done everything. Oh my word, the fucking Ghost Ship. You have to see it.
Shame you are playing on an HDTV, the scuba tank has jaggies in HD.

I spent a lot of time incapacitated in bed but had made very good friends with the guys at the FuncoLand near my home. They would let me 'check out' games and I would buy and trade a whole hell of a lot too.
The King's Fields games were the Demon's Souls / Dark Souls of the PSOne era. They were tough as nails too and the environments were a lot more 'open' than any other PS games at the time. I proudly beat those games before anyone had even heard of From Software. These days, I don't have enough patience to play their games as much.
After a while, I couldn't stand the tank-like controls of the Tomb Raider games. That's what also discouraged me from the RE games. Once I played games with full freedom of movement (where you would actually run in the direction you would press the analog stick), I couldn't go back to the tanks.
There is no way in hell it will look like that on my TV.

Update finished, I have beaten roughly 608 unique games in my lifetime. This is not counting HD rereleases of an old game as a new title, I only count one game once no matter how many versions I have beaten.
Dev at Traveller's Tales who leaked updated WiiU controller (now with sticks!) already fired and may be taken to court. Respect NDA's folks.

Just beat Chains Of Olympus. Good game, some really cool moments in it.
I'm surprised just how much these games look and play and have the feel of the console games. I'm pretty burned out on GOW so I am trying to just get these games done as fast as possible, but They are quite well done. Vader, I don't know why you didn't like this game unless you're just burned out on the series too.
I give this one an 8.0 rating. Now on to Ghost Of Sparta.
I like to buy or rent dvds, so I don't like paying for the same thing twice. Also, in the past I've found the quality of a dvd or bluray on a good tv to be better than the quality of some of the theatre screens I've seen.
You should just get Overkill on Wii then, it must be $10 by now.
The new Ghost Recon came out yesterday on consoles, PC version is June 12th.
Advanced Warfighter was an awesome game on the 360 back in the day...one of the 1st great games on the system. Some really fun multi-player too. I'm gonna have to get this one soon.

The Metroid Halo crossover failed. This can only be worse.
Metroid is a lot darker than Starfox.
Maybe if they killed Slippy and manned up Peppy it could work. I really doubt it though. Metroid is slimy aliens, Starfox is fuzzy bunnies.
