I'm back, btw. The log I squeezed out wasn't even that big.
Oh, I didn't think for a minute that patent was going to be a real controller or anything. I just don't want Sony to follow Nintendo with more gimmick nonsense.
Hopefully, given their current shape, they'll play it safe and stick with the form factor of the Sixaxis. I just hope they have not hit the desperation level yet.
Best game ever. After Rumble Roses.
Bugs did you unlock and play the Special levels in Super Mario 3DLand? If not I wouldn't give up on the game yet.
It's like a game of two halves, once you complete it, that's just the midway point.
But, it is a real controller.
LOL
^ If that controller is real, then that's just sad.
Super Mario 3D Land should have been the game that made me want to buy a 3DS. Instead, it has completely turned me off to the system. Sorry, Nintendo, but I don't want to slog through a bunch of uninspired, easy levels in order to get to the good stuff. It reminds me of all of those crappy fetch quests in Skyward Sword, only worse. Bleh.
Yes bro, I played every level including all the S worlds. I got three hundred farking golden coins. I played most levels several times to find/get all the coins in order to unlock the last few levels of world S8. Played the game to death because I was stuck with it. It's not a very good Mario, there's no two ways about it.
It's true brother. It's a fun game to play and all, it's still solid (and if you had the system there's hardly anything else to play at present) but when it comes to comparing Mario platformers, it's way down in the pecking order. It's not even the best handheld Mario game as Vader claimed it was in his review. Even if we discount Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, 3, World, 64, and Yoshi's island for not being original handheld games, New Super Mario Bros. and Yoshi's Island 2 are both superior games to 3D Land

While I'm in my moaning mood ... Why did Nintendo do away with the instruction booklets for 3DS games? I always loved the manuals to Nintendo games, they were so colourful and fun (to browse through while on the bog). 3DS games have no manual save for a stupid "quick guide" sheet with the basic controls. When EA announced they would stop putting paper manuals in games to save trees, I remember it being a discussion point. Did Nintendo even say they were quitting manuals? There's a bunch of other useless paper in the box like safety instructions and what not (same shit every game) so they aren't really saving trees... Just pissing me off

If you're still reading them at the toilet use them as toilet paper.
^ I didn't know that. I would have figured Nintendo to be one of the last companies to ditch paper manuals.
Cause it's cheaper.
Every game has a digital manual, just hit the home button while the game is on.
Mario 3DLand is the best portable Mario.
Hard glossy paper? ... erm no. Nothing but triple quilted velvet tissue

I prefer using the three seashells method myself.
When you say it's the best portable Mario, do you ignore the fact that Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, 3, World, World 2 - YI, 64 also exist in portable forms?
Do you just mean it's better than New Super Mario Bros DS, Yoshi's Island DS, that DS Peach game and Super Mario Land 1 and 2 on the old gameboy?
Regardless though, why is it the best portable Mario? Give me a good reason why it's better than most of those games

Glossy means it's smooth.
Yes, but the objective here is soft, not smooth

Best portable i.e made for a handheld game.
Reason why it's better than the rest? Most of the rest were shit or average.
Damned if I know what this means:
He speaks the truth.
