I can't fucking wait!
Yeah I think everybody is going to have a tablet...should be interesting. This new generation may end up similar to the PS2 era, where all 3 machines are capable of similar things.

Message Aspro up yours for never replying to my message.
The Darkness II also has the same issue. Found that one out myself when I tried installing the game yesterday.
Such a bizarre issue. You'd think by now that'd be sorted out?

I have played it and WOW!!!!! It feels so fast, so responsive, so good. ME2 was a massive improvement on ME1 and this game takes it a step further to where it feels like everything is balanced better and the shooting feels as good as any TPS I have played. Movement has more of a focus as you can roll from side to side and easily move and jump over cover. The new melee attacks are awesome and change depending on your class. This is just a demo and I already fought all sorts of enemies with a bunch of different strategies to take them out.
The first part of the demo is a tutorial and the stuff you see is incredible. So cinematic, so breathtaking, the story will be epic. The second part is an action segment and here you get to play with a bunch of points so you can build your character anyway you want. Powers now have split skill trees for more customization. So far I played as a soldier and an adept. Soldier allows for the ammo types and adreniline rush which works so well with melee. The adept powers feel like they work faster and cause more havok. My teamates were easy to command and left on their own were very smart in combat. This big dude with a giant shield was attacking us so I went around back, I got him to turn toward me which allowed Garrus to use a concusion shot to knock him out which allowed me to stab him in the head.
It is a pretty short demo but it allows you to play as every class and assign points anyway you want. Plus you can play as male or female and see how choices from old games change the cutscenes. You also have all difficulty modes to mess with. There is multiplayer but that was not working yet.
This is a shooter, everyone that wants some hardcore RPG go play something else. The demo is fantastic, everything I wanted for the finale, it feels damn perfect.
Just wrapped up the Darkness II. Kinda short, but very, VERY satisfying.
Digital Extremes got 'it'. Shooting is satisfying, but the world & story? Bloody great. Paced wonderfully, even if the combat oriented last few missions are annoying.
RIP Whitney Houston.
It is more an RPG/Shooter hybrid, don't you think? The series is based off of the same structure as the Kotor series after all...heavily focused on story and character building. Just calling it a shooter is kind of an insult to its greatness. Do not make Liara cry...
Finally got Morrowind up and running, the 2011 mod that got taken down because modders got angry somehow ended up working with me, and it really makes the game easier on the eyes. That's the only way the game is easier in anything, though, since its difficulty and unforgiveness is far beyond anything I've encountered in either Oblivion or Skyrim. That makes stepping out into the wilds and hitting the road an adventure in the truest sense of the word, since you don't even know if you're going to be back or end up gutted at the side of some godforsaken road.
Yeah edge it still has all the RPG elements that matter, the story, the choices, the strategic combat. But it is a shooter with RPG elements not a split I would say and good cause I really dont like some RPG elements and this game gives me exactly what I want.
Yeah Morrowind is hardcore shit....as great asthe newer games are, they definitely toned down everything much more than Morrowind.
You don't like RPG elements? I never knew....I thought you were an RPG fan for some reason.
