Honestly, I considering trading in the Wii along with most of the major games that came out for it, because I am almost certain Nintendo is going to go into "Wii HD Hits" mode on Wii U anyway, and rerelease all the Mario, Metroid, and Zelda shit in HD.

Screw the HD remakes. You have a powerful PC right? Put Dolphin on it, rip all the Wii and GG games you have on a hard drive. And presto you have Zelda, Xenoblade, Galaxy all in HD right now!

I started Bastion last night, its cool but not exactly what I expected. You basically go to a place and beat up guys. I do enjoy finding new upgrades and powerups but its all basic go to level finish it. I guess I was expecting a more Zelda like adventure. The combat is really well done and I love the challenges.

I have a little story to tell. It happened tonight. I'm not proud of my actions, but there's one tiny part of the story I felt I needed to share... I have A LOT on my mind these days. Partially due to New Years. Partially due to the events of last year. Partially due to my future. My favorite thing to do when I have a lot on my mind is to go to a coffee shop, get a cup of tea, and read for a good few hours. Being on Long Island at the moment, I don't have a lot of choices at my disposal, so Starbucks it is. Being in the middle of the Suburbs, the area around me, leading to and from Starbucks, is kinda... odd. A bit backwards maybe. Kids have nothing better to do than roam the streets, hang out in parking lots and just generally cause trouble. I was driving back from Starbucks tonight, when lo and behold, a pack of brats is wandering aimlessly in the middle of the road. Of course, they need to put on a show, so when they see my headlights, they all start doing this weird kinda hunched walk in unison. This street is in front of a middle school, it's a residential area and the speed limit is low, so cars drive thru slowly. Which is exactly what I was doing. While these teenie-boppers are doing their little performance, one of the girl starts to purposely walk towards my lane as I am driving. Now, I am going too slow, there's no way I am going to hit her. I know it, she knows it, but the show must go on. I know her game, it's happened before on the very same street. This time, I decide I am not going to stop, I am not going to swerve. I am not going to give her the satisfaction. Remember, there's no way she was in any danger... She gets pissed because I don't react to her little act, and she's the one who has to get out of MY way... I see the look of shock and anger as she calls out: "Fuckin' ASSHOLE!" The window of my car was open, cause it's not cold out AT ALL tonight, and I was enjoying the night air as I drove. The conditions were perfect for me to come up with the rudest comment on the spur of the moment I have ever delivered in my life. Being annoyed by her antics and her cursing at me after I had just spent much of the evening trying to unwind, I fire back at her with this: "Suck my dick, Bitch! Don't worry, I'll pay you what you're worth... IF you have change for a dollar!" I kept on driving down the road, as the words left my lips. Looking in my rear-view mirror, I saw the brat-pack freeze in their tracks, the only thing heard after that was the angry howl of a teenage drama queen, echoing in the night...

I'm gonna try this one more time: If you are a fan, in any way, of Graphic Adventure and/or Phoenix Wright games, you simply --MUST-- play Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective!! It is, hands-down, this development team's FINEST WORK yet! The graphics must be seen in motion to be believed. The game play is totally unique in the fact that you are a Ghost capable of manipulating inanimate objects and talking to the recently/previously dead. These "Ghost Powers" you have let you travel back in time, four minutes before a person dies, to try and change his/her fate. It's like the Phoenix Wright games because of the "Crime Stories" and Logical paths that need to be followed to Rescue a Person or Solve a puzzle, but it's also ENTIRELY different in that the execution of these puzzles plays out in an intricate, brilliant Rube Goldberg kind of fashion. It's difficult to describe, but I promise you, you've never experienced anything like it before! The story is sooo well-developed and so well-woven it really is SIMPLY INCREDIBLE! I'm not even going to mention the creative juices at Capcom flowing freely into an INCREDIBLE cast of CHARACTERS! It's a travesty this game had to come out at the end of the DS' Life-Cycle, as it has probably been entirely ignored, but don't let that stop you from experiencing it!! This is one of those MUST PLAY, ONCE in a GENERATION, UTTERLY UNIQUE games that ALL gamers NEED to play!! Yes, I'd even go as far as saying IT IS UP THERE WITH THE WORLD ENDS WITH YOU!! Does that tell you something, or what?! Try it, Buy it... Do whatever you have to! Between this game and 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors, the DS finest hour passed without almost anyone noticing! Don't be one of those ignorant gamers!!
