It is definitely moving that way. SKyward Sword underworld kinda feels like Prime 3. So they are getting there with or without Retro.

P.S. Tokyo EAD should do the next Zelda. Team Zelda should do a Berserk sword fighting game.

Most of those are great games but I have the physical copies still with the exception of Kirby and Wario Land 4 (which was stolen from me).  I'm still happier with getting my 3DS 100 pounds cheaper than on launch, and being able to get the red version, though it's certainly a nice gesture towards the early adopters.

Yes GG, 3D video is tons of fun but quality of cameras is terrble.  It was sheer stupidity thinking it wasn't worth using something slightly better.  Would have cost the same and would have made a huge difference.

And GG, i'm really sorry for your cat.  As vader said losing a pet can be close to losing family so it's very sad indeed

Club Nintendo Offering Downloadable Titles As Rewards

This is awesome news. Looks like this might be a regular thing for Nintendo. They've put up 4 initial games to use your Rewards points for so far:  

• Super Mario Kart (Virtual Console) - 100 pts
• Fluidity (WiiWare) - 150 pts.
• 3D Classics: Xevious (3DS eShop) - 100 pts.
• Mario v. Donkey Kong: Mini's March Again (DSiWare) - 150 pts.

Therefore, from what I assume by looking at the hardware itself right now, it doesn’t seem like the Wii U will be appealing to the real hardcore gamers from the beginning, at least. So what Nintendo will probably do is try to get the kids and the families first, like they did for the Wii, and then enlarge it to the more hardcore gamers.” - Masaya Kobayashi

Horrible idea....if you don't go for the hardcore 1st, you are not getting the hardcore, period. The hardcore market is very 1st impression oriented. Why did the PS1 and PS2 (the best selling console of all time) do so well? Sony had an aggressive launch price and catered to the hardcore 1st, casuals second.

The Wii launched with Zelda. The problem with the Wii was never the 'hardcore' the problem was 3rd party support.

The idea of having Metal Gear Solid 5 about The Boss and the Cobra Unit during WW2 is a great idea....they should have started doing that right away.

However, the game should not be called Metal Gear SOLID if Solid Snake is not in the game....just as MGS3 shouldn't have been called such.
