MOST AWESOMEST VIDEO EVER ! ! !
Sony had a second keynote for Vita. They showed how PS3 games could be streamed onto the Vita and how the Vita can be used as a PS3 controller. They showed two people playing LBP2, one on the TV screen, the other on the Vita. Guess what that sounds like... Wii U! Wow Sony going right at them.
can I just say. Playing Vita games on PS3>>>>playing PS3 games on Vita.
Definetly will agree with this.
That it is. And good god is it hard.
...and, as any fan of Gay Porn will tell you, That's a VERY, VERY good thing!
Edit: It's 5:49AM and I think I'll play some Silvergun!
From one gay porn fan to the other!
(Says the guy with the gay pron avatar.)
Hey, Greeks, is this true?
Holding up your palm towards someone
Where to avoid doing it: Greece
What it means in the UK: Usually ‘stop’, sometimes a slight wave, occasionally a Jerry Springer-style ‘talk to the hand!’
What it means in Greece: I’m imitating smearing your face with excrement. That’s not an exact translation, but the gesture is thought to be a remnant of Byzantine times when people could taunt shackled criminals by actually doing that. Either way, holding your palms out towards a person is a highly insulting gesture.
The battery life isn't bad, it's on par with 3DS I just don't understand why they say that for 3-5 hours you have to have headphones plugged in? Someone needs to test it with the normal speakers and see what the difference is. For high powered games devices these days I expect 5 hours max battery life.
People are saying it will be shown today or tomorrow.
I don't think it will work at all. It's not like Vita comes bundled with every PS3.
By the time you buy all the stuff Sony wants you to, how much of a financial black hole will you be in? PS3, Vita, PSMove, Nav controller, PS Eye camera, 3DTV - that's not even including games. It's nice that games can be streamed to Vita, IIRC games could be streamed to PSP too and from what we hear, Wii U games streamed to 3DS.
This is that Wayforward digital 3DS trailer I told you guys about. You have to see it in 3D, looks really cool but I don't like the platform switching mechanic if it's in the whole game. Yeah I know it was good in DKCR and SMG but it doesn't look that great here.
Smash Bros mod
Halo
Project Draco, the Kinect game I think.
Little Kings Story vita trailer
Looks better, crisper, more detailed with nice lighting, a rimlight for the characters. Art, character design and music are all worse and loses the charm of the original IMO, but it looks like a solid game otherwise.
GAF seem to hate it. The music and artstyle is all different, they say its generic now. Some of the trailer looked like the old game. At this point it's not clear if this is a port, a new game or something inbetween.
Max Payne 3 debut trailer
Not true. Palm showing with the fingers tightly next to each other has the same meaning, stop and the like, if you expand your fingers away from each other then it's sort of an insult. But I had no idea it had to do with smearing shit, I'm not sure if that's true.

1up:
After all the jokes, analysis, and theories on how a second analog stick could help Nintendo's current 3DS predicament, I got my hands-on the "Frankenstick" base/second analog pad attachment (that will add camera control to games like Monster Hunter, Metal Gear, etc.) at Capcom's Tokyo Game Show booth today.
I didn't have much time with the unit, and it wasn't running any software, so these are early impressions, but the main two things that jumped out at me are that it feels as big as it looks in pictures, and it's very light -- it seems almost hollow, which makes sense given that there's probably not a lot of tech packed into the base.
I've heard people compare it to the Game Gear, and I don't think that's accurate -- it's much more ergonomic and comfortable to hold, though it does have some of the bulk of Sega's machine. I can't see anyone carrying this around in their pocket, for instance -- the width would make that nearly impossible.
Despite feeling hollow, the attachment isn't wobbly in the least, so it doesn't rattle when you play with it, and the shoulder buttons are comfortable to reach and well built. Basically, it feels like one bigger unit rather than two pieces stuck together.
That's all I can think of at the moment, but if you have any specific questions, toss them in the comments and I'll follow-up soon.
DQX footage from the DQ Collection. Nothing too exciting or all new but, neat and promising.
