- Logged another 8 hours in DQ6. Just when I'm starting to enjoy it it throws me another -- "you figure it out" -- curveball where I have to walk through the world hoping to trigger the next mission.
- Beat Dark Sector. Good game.
- Started (5-6 hours) in Yakuza 3.
- Unlocked all characters, tracks and songs in Sonic and SEGA All-Star Racing.
Gaf is a giant shit hole for the most part but when you get into specialty threads they are fantastic like the LBP threads.
I finished up Red Dead Redemption. Loved it. The more I think about it, the more I think that it may be my favorite game I've played on the PS3. It just hit on every level.
So that was finished yesterday and today I exchanged it for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. I wasn't overly impressed with the original AC, so I was a little reluctant about this one, but since my Blockbuster refuses to get any new games I tried it out. Very good. Much improved over the first one. I still think the controls get a little wild at times, but nothing I can't overlook.
You should try Undead Nightmare.
I will at some point. I don't own RDR yet, and will probably wait till it hits $25 - $20, which really shouldn't be long at this point since it retails for around $30. I definitely want to check it out though. Hell I'm already debating a John Marston costume for an upcoming con.
Well, I just finished up with the Gears 3 beta for tonight and it was fun! I'm not sure, but isn't tonight the last nght for the beta? When I first started, I couldn't get a feel for it, too slow for me, I couldn't dodge properly, I didn't care for the weapons. But playing with friends makes all the difference. Those matches with Bear and Steel were great. Whether it's fighting side by side them or getting chainsawed by Steel for the umpteenth time, this game finally had me in it's grasp. I can't wait for September.
I also have been playing Undead Nightmare, which I love. It consumed my time earlier this week, Gears beta in the latter part of the week. I spent some time clearing a dungeun in 3D Dot Game Heroes. I really need to devote more time to it. I also played a b it of Katamari with the wife.
Nice I had fun with you guys too, I was not in tonight. Watching bulls highlights still and there are many! I think we get one more day/night tomorrow and I will be up for it then for sure!
Has Half Life 2: Episode 3 been announced yet? Gamespot has a survey that mentions it.

"Tokyo scenes confirmed for next movie.
The next Resident Evil movie is subtitled Retribution and some scenes will be filmed in Tokyo, according to series star Milla Jovovich.
Jovovich, who plays super soldier Alice in the movies, took to Twitter to chat about the new movie.
"i LOVE tokyo! 1 of my FAVORITE cities in the world! we're gonna come film some scens 4 the nxt RE in tokyo!!!"," she tweeted (reported by Rely on Horror)."
Its a lot like the other great western RPG's you've played, but with a better story than most, and a really cool main character set in a very gothic world.
Also completley free of the morality you'd expect in most games. As in there's no good or bad - it's super grey all the way, and all your actions do have a consequence.
And there's a lot of "mature" content. (Gratutious sex.)
And I made a big post earlier about how it plays and got no response.
