Brink is by Splashdamage who did some popular Wolfenstein: Enemy Tribes (?) and some Quake and Doom multiplayer stuff on PC. I just heard an interview with them, it sound pretty good. Could be the next Borderlands (as in novel non-military/space marine online shooter).
They were the first to come up with XP in a multiplayer shooter. This is their first new IP and their first 360/PS3 game. They have the lead artist from the pretty Prince of Persia.

It's getting some bad reviews because the review code was shit. There is a day one patch that fixes everything that was available to reviewers on Saturday. Some had already written their reviews.
Anyway, it's a online multiplayer game predominantly. They said the single players is essentially for training and levelling.

Did anyone see the 30 Rock episode where Liz was stuck on the plane that was delayed and her boyfriend Matt Damon was the pilot. He kept telling the passangers they will leave in about half an hour then he tells Liz he has no clue when they will take off, he says half an hour because its a perfect amount of time to say cause it not too long so people stay in place and under control. He does this for hours until Liz leads a revolt on the plane.
That is what Sony is doing to us right now.

Man that Dyack interview makes me laugh my ass off. Dude...its your own damn fault Too Human bombed...not the fault of an early preview. You chose to show the demo, it sucked. You released the game before it was ready and with horrible design choices....it still sucked. Not only was the game badly recieved and a bomb sales-wise, but it ruined that high-quality developer reputation that you guys built up from Blood Omen, to working with Nintendo in the Gamecube era.

You know what sucks though? Playing a PS3 game from before there were trophies. I'm in Dark Sector right now, and it's even worse, because every time a 360 schievement would come up they have a "dummy" achievement appear that does nothing other than remind me I bought this game for the wrong format.
