Awesome! Just went over the Gamestop earlier today to put down money for my pre-order (and to get the sweet Sonic hat). This reviews makes me feel more confident in my decision.
I am pretty sure Dimps made the crappy Wii version of Unleashed and Sonic Team handled the far superior HD versions, both night and day. Dimps is good at making specific kinds of Sonic games, Colors seems to be right up their alley.
Actually yes, yes they are. Well some of them anyways. I think, have not read the magazine in year or two. And yes they are legit, no worries about that. They used to be better though.
And you keep on failing. Are you trying to break a world record or something? You will never beat the hamster, never.
I also threw down and picked up the new Professor Layton and as much as I'm ashamed to admit it, Harvest Moon Grand Bazaar. I'm confident it won't be real good, but the need to play Harvest Moon is getting too hard to ignore. Fortunately it's much more fashionable to want to play a decayed niche game series rather than a decayed mainstream game series.
You give Sonic Team too much credit!
No seriously though, according to Wiki, the daytime portions were co-developed with Dimps.

Had to scrape the very bottom of the news barrel today, and that was with no updates last night.
Wow, Robio, guess you are not the only one that likes to play certain games at certain times of the year
link
Those are some of the more enjoyable and rewarding games.
Yeah, the game has gotten a very positive reception so far, but I don't know if it'll push a million...worldwide it should.
Interesting. I wonder if my tastes or mood for certain games change during the course of the year. You know all those "I'm in a phase" periods. It's odd that I do still want to play certain genres.
Could it be a seasonal thing?

Sonic Chronicles is SLOOOOOW, I dont know how much more of this I can take. Its a Sonic game, why does this have so slow combat and game progression. Coming off of TWEWY this is so sad.
It could be because that's just BioWare trying to make a JRPG.
I don't know. I know that Sonic Chronicles got some negative impressions because of those things.
I'd play it just because it's Sonic. I wonder if I can find this still at stores.
I think you said it right there. Although in their defense, they didn't have much to work with in terms of hardware and the material. I don't know how anyone can really come up with a really good story with Sonic that can fit a 40+ hour RPG.
And the DS has limitations other than going with turn-based.
But I played a lot of turn-based games and a lot of the JRPG developers found better ways to make the battles fast-paced and fun.
At least BioWare tried and I hope they try to do more and improve it.

At least Star Wars felt like Star Wars, Jade Empire had some of that martial arts feeling. This captures nothing of Sonic, its like Bioware's bad JRPG experiment with a Sonic skin.
LBP2 NA beta just started. I am not in it so at least that makes me not having a PS3 bearable.
Vader's going to cum when he finally gets to play Sonic Colors.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
Word of advice, STOP PLAYING THE GAME.
I'm not exaggerating either. It's honest to god, the worst Sonic game out there, and it's Biowares worst effort. I know it's not saying much, but at least with the more recent games, there's something that's come out of it. This? NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Combat is fucking broken, enemies are stupidly overpowered, the story doesn't amount to much (well, except for making Sonic a dick), and the music is a fucking abortion.
Seriously Vader, just stop playing and move onto something else.
Holy crap Supernatural is awesome
The latest episode has Bobby Singer going all Steelattack and saying 'balls' at least at 4 different occasions.
Check out the Supernatural anime trailer, made by Madhouse the animators of Death Note.
Wow music by a Japanese Kansas cover band
I do like Rune Factory, but I greatly prefer it on a home console. Frontier is one of my favorite games for the Wii in fact. Its just not as good on a handheld. Combat isn't as good. THe social features aren't as good. Maybe some of that is fixed in RF3, but I know it'll still fee like a step backwards after Frontier. I'll just hold out and wait for Rune Factory Oceans for my return to the series.
Heh, that's kind of cool. For the record I'm also that way with Zelda games as well. I'm not sure if its because the series always seems to launch new installments during the holidays or because I played the original Zelda back in December of 1987, but as soon as it gets cold outside (winter cold that is) I want to play Zelda
This sounds like a warning from my future self. I have a feeling I will stop at some point.
Ok, I just preordered the latest Donkey Kong Country for the Wii. I started thinking about the fond memories I had playing the first one when it was released, during my first year in college. Retro hasn't let me down yet. I spent many a nights playing through that one. I don't know if I'm buying Kirby or renting. The reviews make it sound too easy and that sounds boring. It does look interesting, though.
