Krome Studios "closing" - -laying off more staff. About a month ago they said they were going to transition into "social games".
That and "We're going to focus on digital only games" has become the new shorthand for "you better look for a new job".
I don't know about relying on Play as a credible source, Vader. They did give Bullet Witch and Lair a 9.

Remeber that Mr. Driller image? Gone.
Namco Bandai has removed an image of Mr Driller from its website that it created to celebrate the successful rescue of 33 trapped Chilean miners earlier this week.
The Japanese publisher posted the image on its Twitter feed. It shows its Mr Driller character, some kind of cute puppy, the Chilean flag and a cheery message which translates as "Welcome back!".
Apparently though, some deemed this highly offensive, and Namco Bandai has since removed the image, tweeting, "We would like to offer a profound apology to everyone. It was inexcusable."
We're off in search of a Chilean miner for comment. We'll update if we can dig one up.
Mr Driller's last videogame appearance was on WiiWare last year in a revamp of his classic jewel-excavating puzzle formula.

I am watching the Castlevania retrospective and they are talking about the Saturn version of SOTN which has new areas and music, but did it say that it was that version that is on Dracula X Chronicles or is that one the original PS1 version. I want to see the new areas.
AFAIK, the SotN version included in the PSP remake of Chi No Rondo is the PS1 one, with new voiceovers.

How does the Saturn get the SOTN version with the most content. I may need to hunt that down.

I'm pretty sure the PSP version is supposed to have the best of both worlds. The nice transparency effects of the PS1 version the Saturn lacked, and the extra content of the Saturn version, the Underground Garden area and the playable Maria, though the latter has been completely redone. But don't quote me on that.

Krome Studios shutting down is such a big deal we have two stories about it. I should submit a third.
Wasn't Blade Kitten *just* released? How are they shutting down? Did they bank on it selling a gazillion in a week? Lol... That said, for the stuff they were doing, they employed way too many people. Stupid managers.
