In the US it's coming out at the very end of November. AFTER Thanksgiving weekend surprisingly. EU gets it a couple days earlier.
I will admit I say that I want to play it strictly based off the aesthetics. It sounds like it will play like MadWorld (which I did enjoy) with some extra platforming elements in it. But with just over amonth to go until its release there is almost no video footage of the game to look at. Just the E3 trailer, which was very brief. There were serious development issues with the game early on with Namco pulling the plug on the original developer. Those two things make me nervous about the game's quality. I'm anticipating a lot of scores around a 6. But it's still pretty so who cares?
PS3 numbers are out as well. 312,000.
Yup. Thanks man.
So, according to the GAF thread, we have:
Xbox 360: 483,989 Units (Up 37% Year Over Year)
DS: 403,000 Units (Down 23% Year Over Year)
New! PS3: 312,000 Units (Down 37% Year Over Year)
Wii: 254,000 Units (Down 45% Year Over Year)
According to hearsay, paid subscriptions for NPD data are expensive. I mean really expensive. I believe IGN pays some 120K a year or some outrageous figure like that. So, If data is leaked or filtered or handed out to media outlets, paid subscriptors might start to bail out. NPDs effort to withhold the numbers is, at least from this point of view, understandable, although shitty for the rest of us peasants who like to follow the industry.
Wii at last place. How the tides have turned.

ONM A Shadow's Tale review
Ultimately, if this were a three-hour-long, 1,000 point WiiWare download, we'd have been first in line to shower it with praise. Its minimalist, artsy approach is absolutely perfect for the service, and it's not like there are too many lush cinematic setpieces to gobble up the file size either. We'd wager it would have found a much more enthusiastic audience on WiiWare than it will in the ruthless high street marketplace.
For some strange reason, though, Konami has decided to push this out at full price and bloat its length to the point where our initial goodwill almost entirely evaporated. There are some brilliant, affecting and ambitious moments to be enjoyed here, but you'll be reaching for the Wii's off button long before its makers intended.
Delightful visual approach
Clever, nostalgic platforming
Soon gets repetitive
Too diluted for a full release

You gonna stick around?

I might. I feel kind of bad for abandoning The VG Press for almost a year after my last blog. Of course, more time spent goofing off on the internet is less time spent playing games or doing something useful, but I'll try to drop by sometimes to catch up on the news and leave insightful comments such as "Your mother".
Marvel Looking at Possible TV Shows for Hulk, The Punisher, and Cloak and Dagger
Kirby's looking good! I'm glad to see it's getting great reviews.
And I think it's safe to say to just skip FEAR 3...er, I mean, F3AR! *eyes roll* It's the same guys that did Fracture, so I don't expect anything special.
