I could have seen Nintendo going with a hybrid portable/home console. Doesn't seem real likely for Sony or MS though. So much of what they have done with ther current consoles has been able "presense in the home." Netflix, Facebook access, ESPN, etc. To make it portable runs the risk of losing all of that work.
Is that........ Stone Cold Steve Austin?
I want to see this in cosplay Robio.
This character model needs work.
Dragonquest 10 shown on the 19th October?
For those not paying attention to the movie hype thread, which is everybody, 13 Assasins reviews are on a tear. Everyone loves it.
13 ASSASSINS is not only Miike's best film, but one of the best films of the year!
13 ASSASSINS is hands down the single best film Miike has ever made. His career casts a wide net, ranging from the serious to the weird to the downright messed-up, and this film is everything he does well put into one, perfectly assembled, absolutely flawless film. Anyone who thought they had Miike figured out has to completely re-examine his career. This is his masterpiece, the CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON of samurai films that not only serves as the best movie he’s ever made, but as one of the best movies ever made in the sub-genre. You might be expecting a Miike samurai film to be good; but transcendent? This isn’t just good; this is best of the year good, easily my favorite film of this year’s Fantastic Fest
I'd like to see that, but Level 5 has never been confirmed for DQX. Then again no one has been announced for DQX, which is kind of odd considering the game was announced over a year ago. SE is either handling it internally or some developer has done an incredible job of keeping of keeping the lid closed on it.
I like the visual style, Sonic 4 looks like it's made of early 90s sterile no-detail CG to me.

Who does Picard voice?
I don't get why SEGA can't do this sort of stuff.
Very nice Fable III screens. I have always fancied the Fable series art direction and character design.
Erp...forgot to plug it on here, but we got to play a little Enslaved: Odyssey to the West last night on a live stream I took part on, as in the final game. Having not played the demo, it was kinda neat to run through it and enjoy it for the first time. For some reason, I get quite the vibe from Uncharted - mainly just in the platforming and how...automatic it is. Also really did love some of the plot elements they borrowed from Journey Into The West, and the visual direction is quite something - love the cinematic atmosphere which these guys are great at.
That being said, it probably wasn't the best way to play it - the TV was so far away from me, that it was hard to actually play the game! I can deal with no sound, but good god.
Yay, I completed NyxQuest.
Probably the best game I've played on WiiWare after Lost winds 2 and 1.
The last level was intense, they saved the best to last, you have to hone your senses and shoot like a lightgun game whilst running in a platformer, whilst moving parts of the level with IR.
The previous level with the giant all seeing eye gave me some trouble.
I think that Jett Rocket or Max and the Magic Marker are next up.
Thanks Bugs

Wow
This is a transcription of Kojima's full comments coming from Nintendo's press event last week...
“When I first heard about its 3D function, I naturally wanted to make something which looks great in 3D. In Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, camouflage is an important gimmick. To avoid being detected, you need to change your camouflage in accordance with the backgrounds. You need to adjust your speed in order to increase the effect of the camouflage and now because this time it’s going to be 3D, you have a real sense that your hiding behind something and the camouflage becomes even more effective in 3D. And I’ve been waiting for the arrival of this new communication capability. Even when the players are not playing the game, we can make some tricks for them. A number of new ideas for taking advantage of the gimmicks are popping up in my brain. We have the story for Snake Eater, which is now becoming 3D. What kind of new hide and seek can be made? Snake Eater to be played on a portable game machine, Snake Eater to take advantage of the communication capability. Please look forward to a number of new ideas that we are preparing for you.”

Relics are for chumps.
My next mission is to pass this level in DKC. At the moment I feel like I am the Balrog and Gandalf is blocking my way with magic.
Also, I don't know what to do on World of Goo MOMs computer level.
Wii Party is great.
Worth it just for this picture.
I agree -- this is what I've been talking about for months now. It is very likely that depending on how the 3DS is received the next Wii might be only slightly iterative with the main focus on the hand-held market. I agree with you that Sony and Microsoft are not yet ready to retract from the set-top box business.
