I wanted to share an ultrasound picture of a testicle for you guys, to do another trivia question. But in my google search I came across this which is far better.

Q: I am getting a testicular ultrasound next week and I am kind of worried about it. Anyone out there had one before? What was it like?
Some of the answers:
A: It was completely painless, and they use a gel that covers the entire scrotum. I was in there for about 30 minutes. It was done by a woman, and she was very discreet about it. The ultrasound tool is moved over your scrotum from side to side, and no pressure is applied at all. It is not uncomfortable in any way.
She had me lay my penis on my stomach, and she put a towel over my penis and stomach, and surrounded the scrotum with cloths so that only the scrotum was exposed. Again completely painless.
I was fine until about 25 minutes in, at that moment I got an erection (the procedure isn't sexual of course in any way, sometimes it just happens, you get an erection). So I layed my arm across my penis under the towel, to keep it from popping up. She was, again, very discreet about it.
A: What are you worried about? The ultrasound or the results?
The room will be cold. Your penis will get as small as it can and your scrotum will tighten up. The ultrasound tech will have you raise your hospital gown up for access. They will ask you to hold your penis out of the way or they will tape it out of the way. The tech will put some goop on the sensor and start rubbing it (non sexually) around your scrotum. You won't get an erection and if you do, it happens, it will be covered by your gown. No worries mate, we've seen it all! You'll clean yourself up and go home. Don't ask the tech for the results; the MD has to give you the news. You'll hear from the MD after a radiologist or urologist interprets the findings. You'll receive a clean bill of health or something unimportant or you'll be in for a removal of a testicle.
A: I had one done by a female technician, it was a little embarrassing. It took a good 30 mins. she looked at her computer screen more than she looked at my testicles. After about 15 mins. she rubbed the wand up and down my penis, I asked why she was doing that and she said she was trying to get blood into the area for a better picture. It felt good.

So after feeling some pains in my nuts (which is probably due to hernia complications I had several years ago) my doctor said he wanted me to have a testicular ultrasound done. I figured no big deal, it's my balls, got to take care of them.
I figured they'd have a male doctor do these procedures, but I couldn't complain.
I go in for the ultrasound, in the waiting room, and the door opens and it is a remarkably attractive young woman standing there. She calls my name, introduces herself, and says "I will be administering the ultrasound on your testicles today. Since I'm only a student my supervisor will need to come in and check the tests afterwards and probably take more ultrasounds. But I graduate i August I'm so excited!!!" I loved how she got all excited right before giving my ultrasound.
She has me wrap two towels around my waist, one to hold me penis up from my balls, and the other to go under my balls. She says the first is to keep the penis from "getting in her way" and the second is to catch all the ultrasound gel that has to be put on my balls. I get all the towels in order, she comes back in, and as im laying there, proceeds to rub the gel on my balls and asks me to tell her if she isn't gentle enough. It felt like ky or astroglide! Anyways, so then comes the ultrasound gun thing. She was very soft with it, constantly moving it around on my balls for about 20 minutes.
I just laid back.. It was so peaceful! I started to get hard halfway through, but some thoughts of a big fat heffer with too much hair took care of that.
