Wow the Spider-Man: SD really does look good for the Wii. Who would have guessed?  Now let's see if the gameplay is there.  I really hope it is. I'm always up for a good Spider-Man game.

I was actually considering doing Spider-Man 2099 for one of my costumes this year. Sadly the costume budget is lacking this year so it'll have to wait. Plus I don't like spandex costumes because I have to work out and yeah not a fan of that...

These are from Nintendo Power. If this is the full, proper game and not some dumbed down shit like Iron Man 2, then sweet, it looks much much better than I expected, shiny lighting and all. Heck, I actually kinda prefer this version when it comes to the Amazing Spider-Man portion, on PS360 they look like plastic action figures, it kinda looks more like a comic book here. Noir Spiderman has surprisingly nice lighting too. I mean, we know Wii can do that shiny silhouette stuff since it's used in Galaxy and some other games, but most devs don't use them, so I think it's very promising they actually made the effort & have the know how to use that. Fingers crossed.

yeah, it's been consistently getting good word from every gaming outlet who has seen it.  Good comic book games can happen - Arkham proved that, I'm hoping Spidey makes some sense too.

I don't know if they'd be shocked. Like I said earlier the best selling installment of this series hasn't even done a half million and that was bundled with a demo for a Final Fantasy game.  Nintendo might be treating this game as a long term seller. The way they've done the treasure map give-aways spread out several weeks since the initial launch show they're giving this longer term support. In fact those give-aways are still going on into this upcoming weekend.  I still think it'll do half a million when all is said and done.

As far as LHP, according to Gamasutra that was a shipped number, not sold. It's still hanging around Amazon's Top 50 games though and I don't think its going anywhere anytime soon.
