So much debate, how great.
Except it's about DKC and Sonic.
WTH at the Vanquish video. Normal gameplay looks likek someone hit the fast forward button.
Now that's cosplay!
Absolutely! And poor old me without a 360.

I saw an ad this weekend last week for $150 AUD for Arcade (old style). That's a bargain, mon ami.
Updating now.
Look at these sweet Move peripherals.
Boxing gloves.
Who's getting them?
The motion controls for the Wii version are supposed to be pretty enjoyable -- like the two handed dunking motion. I'll be interested to see what the Wii price ends up being. $39.99 USD?
That is a great deal! But still far too much for a 360.
Tbh I should probably grab an old-style arcade on the cheap when they're going out, but ehh...

That's cool. This is the kind of stuff I like to see done. Original, well done ideas that haven't been done a thousand times over.
(64% of PlayStation 3 owners said that they intend to buy the Move controller, which is standalone £35.) Only if you already have the camera.
It'll be interesting to see this motion control war play out, especially as an observer not interested in either.
?
The moon guy should be wearing a black cloak or something to cover his clothes.
It looks like a moon with 3/4 length shorts.
They did release the original on the N64, and it was good. But for some reason I don't see it happening.
They should have released the original on the DS. Wasted opportunity if you ask me.
Genius, this is true.
So what I did was beat the boss, I went back to level 1, loaded up on lives and banana coins then went to the new area. For a game that encourages playing old levels why is it so hard to play old levels. Even when I went to level 1 I either had to beat the boss again to get out or buy a plane ticket. Whatever.
That said, ok the game isn't bad at all. I did the wind level you guys were talking about, did one where you are the parrot but all you do is fall so you have to navigate the level. The best was a level where I was a spider and you create your own platforms, now that is cool gameplay mechanic which again I wish it was used in a better designed level but I'll take it. That said sometimes it feels more annoying than fun. At least the game is huge, so many levels and hidden content to find. The bosses are fantastic. It's a very well made game, a lot of care went into it. I just feel like the levels could be more interesting. Yeah there is variety to them but of the simple sort.
It reminds me of NSMB DS, that kind of flat left to right (some go up and down as well) simplistic level design. Don't get me wrong levels don't have to be mazes or zig zag to be interesting, SMB3 has many simple left to right stages its what you do with them that counts, SMB3 was insane. NSMB felt like a very held back Mario game. DKC2 feels like a held back platformer. I want to see what Retro does with this, I bet they can come up with some amazing levels. That said DKC2 is a great game, I cant deny that.
