Molyneux is pretty high alright, on peyote and LSD.
I'd love a Banjo & Kazooie 4 from Rare. I'd love a new Killer Instinct even more.
Saturn games on XBLA/PSN? Yes please!
That would be epic.
Obviously Sonic Team would have to do the controls.
I think you were the only one who did!

I think it's the EA cover curse. Randy is next!
If you enjoyed the game than that's cool.
I enjoy Bullet Witch and I think everyone thinks that game sucks!
But I like it.

I know the game was a disappointment but maybe the PSP version will be good. I'm willing to give it a try!

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileBut it made me think while I was going through this game.
Whenever people say things like Dead Space is what Resident Evil 5 should've been, I think they're getting their honkers out of whack! Aside from the controversial tank controls, I see the reason why I haven't finished Dead Space yet. It kind of feels repetitive. Same corridors, same environments, same monsters...not much variety. The game is good don't get me wrong, but it doesn't have that hook-factor Resident Evil 5 did.
Say what you will about RE5 but at least that game kept me entertained from beginning to its end. You never did the same thing twice and the environments were always full of variety. I think things like this keep the game from feeling repetitive and it is also why it kept me hooked enough to beat the game.
Dead Space didn't do that. After like the fifth chapter, I was getting a little tired of it to be honest.
I like both games and I guess it's fair to say that Dead Space is the best survival horror game so far, except I haven't played that Siren game on the PS3 yet. But this is why I give the edge to RE5 and why I like it better.

Thank you! Congrats, you have excellent video game taste and reasoning. People that say Dead Space is so much better than RE5 I feel have to be looking at it solely on the horror aspect. They could also be the no moving and aiming bunch that hate RE5 because of that (but it was ok for RE4 of course). But when you compare Dead Space which is an action shooter, the setting is horror but IT IS AN ACTION GAME and you compare that to RE5 as action games RE5 is flat out better. And thats just comparing campaigns, RE5 has a host of extras and replay value to go on top of it.
How big is the main quest. I know the game has like insane amount of hours of content but remove just the main missions how long is it?
Oh snap!
It's all main content really, it's just that half of it doesn't drive the plot. Gameplay wise it's all awesome. You'll want to do them all too. The story moves fast anyway, if it was a non Metal Gear game they'd probably have all the side missions sprinkled in the main game to make it feel longer, with more gameplay between major points etc, here you just have the choice to skip that, it doesn't mean the content is of lesser quality. At least, not most of it, there's still the occasional silly setup that feels like it's VR-Mission (but isn't) but they're still fun to do.
Edit: actually, main story gameplay has probably taken up more time than the side stuff for me. There have been about 20 main missions and 20 side missions for me so far, I have done them all, but the main story missions tend to be over multiple areas, or a boss fight, while the side mission stuff tend to have boss fights in the same manner, as one mission, but their normal missions also tend to only have you complete an objective in one area, not go through multiple. I'm saying missions but for the main story you can think of them as chapters, it's just divided for the portability and due to the new gameplay mechanics which have you outfitting yourself. So it breaks the action after every main objective, before a boss, to let you select the right gear, save, build your base, do side stuff.

The first team went out. Miyamoto stepped off the plane first and was immediately killed. I was careful with the others so the rest made it out ok. Gaminggeek scored the first kill with an excellent shot. I sent Steel and GG together toward the farm homes, Steel had an amazing kill as well, easily my two stars at the moment. I went off with Lara to the fields where I am constantly being shot at by an alien I cant see. I have died many times but I want to survive so I keep restarting. Iga and Kaz had the task of entering the UFO, Kaz took care of the alien inside. Iga has the big cannon gun so he is too slow to move anywhere, he is rather useless out there at the moment. I left it with GG and Steel coming to flank the damn alien that is trying to kill me. The rest of you will be added as new soldiers come in. I'll let you know how you do.
That sounds great. I am just trying to get a feel for the main content, if its the same length as a normal MGS game. This is basically exactly what I have always wanted in my MGS game. I love the way MGS games are, the way the games are told I wouldn't change but I have always wanted extra stuff. I loved MGS2 Substance cause of the tons of new content you get on top of the game. Once I play the game once I always skip the story and replay it just to experiment. If they gave me new missions at least I could experiment with new content. This game finally does that. Now I still have worries that the main quest won't match the main console games (you can tell me, is there anything as exciting as the last two hours of MGS3 with the epic chases. Is there anything like act 3 of MGS4. Is there anything that breaks up the normal stealth gameplay) but it will make up for it in content.
