Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileThat's what I meant to say.
Cba, I ripped a new one to the GB quick look. But yeah he doesn't know what he's talking about. Oh no, it doesn't work exactly like every other game out there, that must mean it's dated, it can't be different for good reason like, offering a different experience rather than a clone of other shallow action games, especially since I suck at it! Pfeh. Hell they gave the first Freedom a 4, then Freedom Unite a 7. I dunno where they found the 3 pts worth of improvements since it's just more of the same. And then rate Tri the same as if it's exactly that. I hate idiots that shouldn't review anything but mainstream FPS affect the metacritic/gamerankings rating of games

That review was the guy complaining about how many times he died. Sounds really bad at the game.
You can't see all the details in such a small pic, there are ninja star-like decorations, not just textured but with actual geometry, and all sorts of small details, subtle specular mapping in the metallic parts, the fur on the waist, the open helmet visor, awesome. And yet in gameplay you won't notice half of it, but they still made all that detail! Best characters in a Wii game, imo, even if the textures are a tad low res up close (which you only notice when you zoom in some menus to check armor parts out, in normal gameplay you don't see them so close). Also, they look smoother in game than in these sharp looking renders due to the soft lighting. Beautiful game I tell you.
And yeah I also find suspect any review that doesn't have a single custom screenshot or video honestly. From professional outlets at least, which should have capture gear. That just tells me they sucked so bad they didn't wanna show how they played it. Like in the GB quick look, you see them unable to do shit and complain about this and that yet it's basic stuff told in the numerous tutorials they HAD to go through to reach the point in the Quick Look, if they didn't read them it's their own fault. So you have them pondering how to do this or that, and it ends up being to just press A in almost all cases... Or trying to use an item called "FISHING HARPOON" to kill monsters...

The game seems to have a lot of depth so instead me thinking that I will get the average game and finish it in 10 hours, this game has me thinking that you can play for animal crossing like hours. Certainly seems good value.
I would probably end up like that GI review though, dying repeatedly and whining at everyone here.
That would be me. Sorry about that. This was one of the few ones I couldn't check beforehand.

It's not so bad.

"Although it's taking slightly longer than expected to complete the project, we're confident that fans will find it to be well worth the wait."
Nintendo said the delay of Sin and Punishment 2 was due to close release date of Super Mario Galaxy 2.
"We're striving to provide the best possible pacing for our summer game launches," Nintendo added. "A June 27 launch allows gamers to enjoy Sin & Punishment: Star Successor without having to rush through Super Mario Galaxy 2 (May 23)."

PR's PR, I know they have to lie, but wouldn't it be refreshing to hear "we don't want to crowd the core market by releasing two premium titles in the same window, so Sin will be released later in the year" (rather than making it sound like the Nintendo elves are working overtime and doing a sloppy job of developing two games at the same time).
They could even do it with a wry chuckle, "we know everyone hates backlog, so we're better spacing out our premium releases".
Not that I care, just pushes out my M+ purchase later.
No, not on you man, again, I've just had it with these news sites taking a single sentence turning it into a paragraph long story and then putting a sexy title on it just so we all click on it.
Not really news enough to post, but Falcom's bringing out a big announcement later this week.
Falcom is noted almost exclusively for their Y's (pronounced eece, as in fleece) series of games, which have never really gotten a good shake here in the west due to the games chosen to be localized, and in some cases poor localization. They are a small company and known for their music and commitment to producing quality games no matter how long it takes. You may also know them from their PSP game Gurumin.
In any case, it will be interesting to see what they are announcing. Since Y's never really took off here (outside of a loyal cult following) I'd like to see them start something new.
Suda 51 interview. I love Suda: (and look at the framing on those questions from the asshole reporter - I've added his intent in red).
What's your view on the Wii's capabilities? Do you find it at all restrictive to what you want to do? (Wasn't it hard to make a decent game on what is essentially a gamecube? Didn't you want to make it on a HD system like normal developers?)"
I don't think that there are limitations to create for the Wii. I enjoy working on it.
And what about the audience? (Most of the people who own Wii's are moms and babies, didn't you know that? Why make an edgy game that is just going to be ignored?)
The original No More Heroes 1 is actually exclusive to Wii. I feel that the game works well with the Wii and fits well with the hardware - so I cannot think about anything else.
Would you consider creating sequels to games you've created in the past, now you've had this success with No More Heroes - particularly Killer 7?
[Sighs] I don't really think that way. Of course it'd be great if I had the chance to do that, but I'm not thinking about it right now. I have no plans to, anyway. (hey asshole, two questions ago I told you I don't like making sequels, give it up already).
I think I have...
I've made it through many, many grueling weeks of work to a vacation to call ALL my own.
LET THE WEEK LONG CELEBRATION OF FREEDOM, GOOD FOOD, GOOD FRIENDS, BOOZE, SEX (and of course) MONSTER HUNTER AND SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV BEGIN NOW...!
Felyne Pepino in my village is now harvesting Might Seeds, but the damn feral ones outside the village stole my Iron Pick-Axe and a good amount of my Potions and Raw Meat! Damn whining Pussies!
I cry FOUL, I say! I hesitantly took an underwater, "simple" One-Star Quest to retrieve some Monster Guts for a Party and was mercilessly attacked by the Lagiacrus ! ! !
You know... This guy:
I step into the Water for my very first aquatic quest and they throw HIM at me?!
BUGSIE, I NEED YOUR HELP ! ! !
Archie...?
Ask...?
ANYONE...?!
Making slow progress myself, got the cha cha helper, made a new Sword & Shield out of Great Jaggi parts, got a full hunter's armor set, and have a ton of items in my box as I hoard everything every time I head out. I should mine more though, I always forget to bring a pickaxe, or if I bring it by the time I reach the mining spots I'm full of stuff.
Not using the farm much, I don't like it uses resource points for seemingly little benefit, perhaps it's better when upgraded further or with better fertilisers, but I don't have many types yet. Maybe I should be saving resource points for future upgrades to it instead though. The farm was easier to work in MHFU, it basically let you do a bit of mining, gathering shrooms, honey, etc, once after every quest, with more items possible after every upgrade. You didn't have to choose only one to do, whatever was in the farm you could harvest it.
But I guess maybe later on you get more felyne workers in Tri so you can cultivate different types of items at the same time. And they replaced fishing in the farm with the boat fleet which is nicer as it's not tedious. Then again the fishing itself is also better in Tri as more than 1 fish can bite on the bait with each drop.
Qurupecco will be my next hunt after a few more quests. Also, the smith finally acquired the Switch Axe forging but I think I'll stick to Sword & Shield until I can get Longswords crafted, I like speed and agility.
