Yep. No Halo 2 online anymore, no other original Xbox games online anymore. I don't know why you'd be upset about not playing Halo 2 online though Vader. Just play Halo 3, it's much better anyway.

I don't care about Halo, its about people paying for Xbox Live, those people constantly saying how awesome it is, how much they love to pay for it, how there is nothing better and then having a piece of it being shut down just like that. And everyone will continue to be ok with it, in fact they are having goodbye parties (that they are still paying for!)

So you see nothing wrong with a company forcing you to pay for a service (you have no choice, you want to play online you must pay) and then deciding to shut down a catalog of their games, sure much older ones but still ones you payed extra for years to play. Are you paying less now, nope. So what happens in 7 years when they decide to shut down the 360 stuff, all that DLC you paid for, yeah its gone. You paid to keep these awesome servers going for all those years, thank you, OFF you go. You paid for this, you still pay for this, things you pay for should keep working.

The most I've payed so far was $15 for Double Dragon. I might go as high as $25 if the game is really great but hard to find. I'm not a collector, so I only buy the games I'd enjoy.

I really enjoyed the game early on, but the later levels become really, really cheap, which frustrates me to end. I never had that problem with Galaxy or NSMB DS, but this game makes me want to throw it out the window.

I was the complete opposite, earlier levels were boring while later levels started to get very interesting.

 Yeah, I meant as a gamer, not a collector.  As a collector I wouldn't pay more than $5 for a cart I didn't have.  As an experience I'd gladly pay $85 for River Raid.  I'm going to have to look up Double Dragon on Atari -- I had not heard of it (I love DD).

That Japanese publishing giant Capcom can consider taking one of its most popular core franchises and turning it into a fitness game is a perfect example of the increasingly mass-market-facing outlook gripping the modern console industry.

Speaking to Videogamer about broadening the appeal of the series to the emerging wider gaming audience, producer Yoshinori Ono stated:

“I've been interested in motion-sensing for a while, ever since Wii was launched. But I don't think it fits the way Street Fighter is played at the moment. It does broaden the appeal to casual users simply because of the instinctive controls, but it just doesn't quite fit an intricately balanced game such as Street Fighter.

“So what we would like to do is lower the entry barrier for those who have never played the fighting genre before so we can convey that fighting games are a good tool, a good fun thing to have per family.

“Now, there is a possibility of doing something called Street Fighter Fit, or Street Fighter Exercise, that is more suited for motion-sensing games, but that would obviously be a slightly different-themed game.”

Sony has announced that people buying its new Bravia HX803 3D TV in June will receive a PSN voucher entitling them to four 3D versions of PS3 games.

The PS3 will receive a 3D compatibility firmware update before the launch of the new Bravia, and then a further firmware update to support 3D Blu-ray playback will follow before the end of 2010.

The four games will be free to anyone forking out for one of the TVs, and they are WipEout HD, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, PAIN and Super Stardust HD.

WipEout HD is the full game, apparently, but doesn't include the Fury add-on; MotorStorm is a single-level 3D demo, PAIN will be three episodes plus the tutorial; and Super Stardust HD is the full game not including DLC.

There's no word on whether the games will be sold separately to non-Bravia 3D users, but we've asked Sony to clarify.

The new HX803 series TVs offer 1080p HD 3D support and boast proprietary features like High Speed Precision (minimises interference between left and right eye images), LED Boost (increases brightness) and 3D Up Conversion (the equivalent of DVD upscaling for the 3D era - taking 2D images and adding depth where possible).

Sony's 3D technology uses active shutter glasses, which open and close shutters so that your eyes see alternating images to create the impression of 3D.

The glasses have a battery life of "approximately 100 hours" and will be available in special sizes for children and animals, possibly.

Apparently you can pre-order the new TVs from Sony.co.uk, but we can't find any reference to them there so good luck.
