Oh yeah I don't really think people "love to pay" for Live I think it's simply that they are satisfied with what they get. If I could get the exact same service for free well I think it would be a given that people would be all for that.
So you see nothing wrong with a company forcing you to pay for a service (you have no choice, you want to play online you must pay) and then deciding to shut down a catalog of their games, sure much older ones but still ones you payed extra for years to play. Are you paying less now, nope. So what happens in 7 years when they decide to shut down the 360 stuff, all that DLC you paid for, yeah its gone. You paid to keep these awesome servers going for all those years, thank you, OFF you go. You paid for this, you still pay for this, things you pay for should keep working.
It's a fun arcade game. I'm fairly deep into the championship mode now, so it's becoming a LOT harder to win. I'm lucky if I can get third place in most races now.
Oh, and I unlocked a Shadow the Hedgehog paint job not too long ago.
The most I've payed so far was $15 for Double Dragon. I might go as high as $25 if the game is really great but hard to find. I'm not a collector, so I only buy the games I'd enjoy.
I really enjoyed the game early on, but the later levels become really, really cheap, which frustrates me to end. I never had that problem with Galaxy or NSMB DS, but this game makes me want to throw it out the window.
I was the complete opposite, earlier levels were boring while later levels started to get very interesting.
yeah, but you are a Sonic player, your mind works faster (blast processing).
Yeah, I meant as a gamer, not a collector. As a collector I wouldn't pay more than $5 for a cart I didn't have. As an experience I'd gladly pay $85 for River Raid. I'm going to have to look up Double Dragon on Atari -- I had not heard of it (I love DD).
Gamecube-like processor? Looks like shit gentlemen. Not that Gamefreak is known for pushing any system graphically.
I seriously doubt that they'll want to shut down the Live service they have going on for the 360. The differences between the original and the Live service for the 360 are like night and day, the original is so barebones compared to this. If they ever do shut this down assuming that they make a new Live version for their next console, which I kind of doubt, then you won't lose the DLC since you can still play it just not online. I would imagine that they would make it so you could download the DLC and arcade games again if you had already bought them.
When I pay for Xbox Live I'm paying for whatever I'm currently playing/using the service for so considering I don't play Xbox online anymore nor would I likely ever in the forseeable future. I would imagine the vast majority of original Xbox games are pretty barren online so even if I wanted to I probably wouldn't really be able to find anyone else or so few that it wouldn't be worth my time.
Even flaccid, my rod is so hard it makes yours look like a wet noodle. Especially after your ironing incident. That picture is burned into my mind
Corrected for you.
Ditto.
Holy poop, the entire team of lead designers have now left Infinity Ward?
This is for DS though, the source says.

Now, I am grateful to this guy for calling his rep, the rep's manager, etc. --BUT-- I failed to mention the conversation he and I had AFTER he told me what the manager said.
It went something like this:
Me: "...besides the obvious? I guess that means something besides Galaxy 2!"
GS Dude: "Well, yeah, it would have to be. I mean, Mario is good and all, but when you consider what it's up against. It's going to take more than Mario to make the Wii huge in May."
Me: "What it's up against? What do you mean?"
GS Dude: "Well there's Split Second, UFC, Blur and Red Dead Revolver."
Me (now with my mouth agape): "A Rockstar game is almost always pretty big and I guess UFC is pretty popular now... but it's MARIO!? Nothing will match the scope of THAT..."
GS Dude: "No. The sales of Mario will not be bigger than any one of those; alright maybe ONE or TWO."

At that point the guy walked out the front door, as he was apparently on his way to Lunch. I just stood there in disbelief. Am I so far biased on the side of Nintendo that I am missing something obvious, or is this guy just totally the most clueless person in charge of a gaming store E-V-E-R?
You should have grabbed him by the back of his shirt, took him down to the floor judo style like Iga would. Then triangle choked the sense out of him.
Then bring up your smartphone and show him this pic till he starts crying.
