4.5/5 - Thank goodness for the battle system, then, because it saves the game while you're wincing through the saccharine banter and waiting for the training wheels to spin off.

Funny thing is, they were supposed to upgrading from 2mb to 10mb and instead for extra money, the connection has turned to shit.
It used to be 2mb free with the TV package. One month the download limit was exceeded so they decide to forcibly kick up the connection for an extra fee to 10mb. It can be cancelled after a month - stupid policy.

Someone deleted my 4-gigabit game card news piece I posted last night!
The game it referred to specifically may have been obscure, but it had news of the Studio Ghibli game in it too!
It's suddenly feeling very gamespotty in here!
...errr...
Now it's back...
That was weird...
It WAS gone...
Did some updates, does anyone remember this? 16 years ago. The creator of this and alone in the dark is doing another ubi game.
I should head this off and direct attention to it being 4 gigabits. That's 512MB.

Yes. I know --BUT-- the point is: the two games mentioned in the article are the two largest DS games yet and the Ghibli one looked OUTSTANDING from what I have seen.
Ninokuni is really looking outstanding. can't wait for that game. japan is getting a special edition of it which is boxed like a miniature version of the book you use in the game

" Graphics
You can play Cave Story with 8-bit visuals or with the original PC graphics. Both are attractive."
What? The original PC release had the 8-bit style (well not really I think it looks much better than most 8-bit games, tons more colors and variety and stuff on screen than they could have back then). The new higher detail visuals is what was made for the Wii release. And actually, the sprites and everything have the exact same resolution really, so if one style is 8-bit then so is the other, they "just" reworked everything to have much more detail and be better defined, within the same specifications. And what about the new music, he doesn't mention it either.
He also doesn't tell us if playing as Curly actually makes a difference, if she has new weapons or whatever, to make it worthwhile to play through again for more than just a few dialogue differences.
And he keeps calling it an NES game. Dude, just tell people it's got retro style pixel graphics, not everything pixelly is NES, and the depth and quality of it is miles beyond any NES game. Compare it to the original Metroid for example...

have you played the PC version?
i haven't, and that review kind of left me wanting to get the game on wiiware but i hear you about it not being very informative. he goes on about how it's like a great NES game. i hope it's a heck of a lot better than NES metroid
