I've told the story before, but the one and only time I played Street Fighter was on an arcade console that had punch pads instead of buttons.  And one of the punch pads had been abused to the point where it had mostly been ripped off.  So when I punched it with my first, I ended up slicing the shit out of my hand on some exposed metal prongs.  Needless to say I didn't progress very far into the game.  

Those punch pads were one of the worst ideas in arcade history. You had people practically jumping over the damn things.

If Disney wasn't in the process of acquiring Marvel (and apparently it's not going entirely smoothly), I would have put them as the front runner since they already own ESPN.  It would be a good fit with EA Sports and possibly create even more sport game dominance.
