Dont forget that one of the Gameinformer scores for Extraction was 8.75
EDIT: I am so tired right now my eyelids are closing. I'll check a few things out later but I guess I'll have to check most of the stuff out tommorrow or saturday.![Sad](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-frown.gif)
That think is ugly. It doesnt look comfortable at all.
MH3 looks allright, still gone off it a bit.
Oooh, SPlinter cell looks a bit better. Still having franchise fatigue here though. Dont like that they've made him slimmer and his character model is different, no suit etc. He looks like Nathan Drake in 15 years, still shopping at the GAP.
EDIT:
Okay, ate, feel better.
RE DC gameplay of that South America level. Now I have to pull out the vader line: wow at the graphics, are you sure this is on wii?
Still 4 minutes to watch.
Jesus! 5 minutes of walking and 3 kills! You could have killed 100+ on Overkill in the same period.
Red steel 2 boss fight, camera is disorientating and it looked boring.

Wow:
Oh hell no:
Just played Brutal Legend and Forza 3 demos and loved them both. BL doesn't have anything mindblowing in the graphics and gameplay departments but that's ok because this game is just so much crazy fun and Jack Black is perfect for the game. I so have to grab this in October.
I also definitely have to get Forza 3. The game looks absolutely stunning. Same great gameplay as always, very nice damage modelling, and you can get into some wicked crash-ups for a sim-racer. Another October pick-up for me. Ouch my poor wallet.
Watched an interview trailer for Alan Wake and each time I see this game I get more and more impressed. Looks like it will have a very interesting and well-written story to it and along with the atmospere it'll really draw the player into the game.
I also watched a Lost Planet 2 TGS video and this game is blowing my mind. Looking like a blockbuster for sure.
New pics in the thread.

The short version:
- the game's tense and absorbing narrative criss-crosses in a satisfying fashion as you explore the increasingly treacherous innards of the Ishimura in an attempt to locate an escape shuttle.
Visceral Games has done a fine job replicating all the key elements that made the original's so frantic and exciting. As a result, the game feels less like a cheap spin-off downgraded to the Wii and more of an essential companion release that fans of the original will be delighted by.
Getting the feel of the combat right is one of the game's triumphs, and in this area it's no less than exceptional, with no end of heart-in-the-mouth moments as you fight off wave upon wave of determined and deadly Necromorphs, targeting the limbs to stop them in their tracks.
Replayability is always one of the most attractive aspects of on-rails shooters, and Extraction certainly scores highly in this regard.
Extraction also scores extremely highly in the technical department, ekeing an impressive amount out of the generally under-utilised Wii hardware. Few would have expected Nintendo's console to be able to do the richly detailed environments of Dead Space justice, but it does so with aplomb. Likewise, the Necromorph character models are faithfully replicated throughout, the boss segments are every bit as overwhelming, and the human avatars are excellent.
-does a fine job of weaving an engaging sci-fi narrative into a slick action game. Far from being a stripped-down side-show to the main event, Extraction provides yet another reminder of how brainlessly entertaining the on-rails shooter can be when it's done properly. With brilliant core combat and an array of heart-pounding set pieces, this provides ample proof that the Wii can service the hardcore when it wants.
8/10
Go in for Halo come out with Conduit. That's like being the Hobo Gourmet, going into a fine french restaurent and then eating from the dumpster outside instead.
I just realised that the Rabbids trailer is a spoof of the GTA IV trailer of sorts when Niko walks into the screen.

Actually, The Conduit is pretty good so far. It has some of the best realistic-ish graphics I've seen on Wii, and the default controls work perfectly for me. The music is really good too. The enemies and storyline are generic as hell, though, but that was expected.
This looks like one of the light-up toys that they sell to kids during the night-time parades at Disney World.
The ball on the end is really unfortunate. Maybe it should have been flush with the unit and in the shape of a rectangle?
You could be talking about either game![LOL](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
What what what? What games have you been playing man?! The graphics aren't good. Okay some of the enemies look okay.
The controls are great. Try making your bounding box a giant rectangle, really slim in width and reasonably high in height. Try the options though, you can tweak the hell out of them.
It's has realistic-ish graphics that contain more color than just mulitple shades of gray, brown, and red. In my book, that makes it graphically better than other games that try to go for a realistic look on Wii (i.e. CoD, MoH). I think it looks very good.
I'll try those control settings.
It's really cool how the game tries to simulate dying as your low health goes down by muffling the sound, blurring the screen, reducing the color to B&W, and having your heartbeat pound loudly in your ears. It's a nice touch.
Did more updates.
Isn't London great?
I turned off the screen blur on reloading.
Be aware that there are significant difficulty spikes, you can adjust the difficulty in the menu whenever you want though.
GG, on the PS3mote i htink the ball on the top is to aid the camera tracking (like those balls on the mo-cap suits), so it has to be sticking out of the end.
I think they said when it was revealed at E3 that it is an LED (which makes sense since it changes color).
I have the difficulty set on High, one setting below the highest. I've come close to dying a couple of times, but they haven't finished me off yet!
And only 17 titles -- these all look like they are SCE published:
Buzz!: Brain Bender
Buzz!: Master Quiz
Daxter
Echochrome
Everybody's Golf PSP
Killzone: Liberation
Lemmings PSP
LocoRoco
MediEvil
Patapon
Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
Resistance: Retribution
SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3
Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow
WipEout
They should have just left it alone and not acknowledge it as an issue.
Larger issue, is it just me or is the PSPGo destined to PSPGo in the same trashcan of history as the Atari Lynx? There is nothing that it provides that the PSP doesn't already have, costs more, and even major retailers like EB is telling Sony to GFO with it (in Australia).
