Well... given the news about the new PSP, and the fact that I play more games on my iPhone, I went and sold my PSP today. In my car sits a brand new Wii, some component cables, and Animal Crossing. I will be buying World of Goo tonight. Can't wait to check it out.
What games are you playing on your iPhone anyway? I've debating swiping my wife's iTouch since she doesn't touch it much these days.

I'm really excited about the news of a new PSP with digital distribution and no UMD. I think it will allow for a wider range of games. The big publishers will be excited about not being victims of rampant piracy, and the small developers won't have to worry about shelf space at retailers.
I buy everything online anyway, so getting rid of discs, just cuts out the middleman.

They said that they neglected it for PS3 but are giving it some more love now. They are really doing well with getting 3rd parties to do exclusives now.

The games I've been really hooked on are Edge, Fieldrunners, SimCity, Metal Gear Touch and Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders. There are also some free games that are really solid, Trace and Galcon are my favorite free games on the iPhone.
Edge is like Marble Madness, but with a cube instead of a marble. It has great art and music direction.

After the Conduit story trailer I'm a bit more interested. It looks like it might be so bad it's funny.
The graphics comparison drove home for me how much better Metroid Prime 3 looks due to having some semblance of style. I could remember so many little details from the even the Metroid Prime 3 trailers before it was released, and all I can remember from The Conduit is the jaggies.

The Conduit - New Story Line Trailer
The begining of this trailer reminds me of the original Resident Evil's opening.
Not an original storyline by any means, but it works for me.
