So I've been playing CoD: World at War. Decent enough game..but the tones that Activision and Treyarch use I really disagree with.
Remember Ikaruga?
Well you played that on ONE screen!
(I predict a humongous head ass-plosion on this one.)
You've been warned!
I downloaded this last night:
Cool game.
Hyper said it had a level of deepness and seriousness that most war games lack. I lol'd when I read that.
What have you guys been playing?
I downloaded Castlevania 3, because Leo and reviews said many good things about it. So far it is an awesome game. Played some World of Goo, Oh and I played with this:
Admit it, you guys are jealous!!
I'm not jealous. I have no idea what that thing is.
You will be after I explain it!
You grab the end of the machine and move it around. On the computer you see a ball moving around. The ball moves around in a maze, the HapticMaster will able to generate many different haptic effects.
Like when touching the wall you movements that would lead to breaching the wall will be stopped. So you actually "feel" the wall. Ohter effects include a region of very think liquid, suddenly it feels like you need to use a lot more force to push trough it. Stairs, you can actually feel the stairs and wind gust, you can actually feel some sudden increase of force. Basically very advanced force feedback.
Jealous now?
I guess fond memories are the answer. As well as curiosity about what happened and if they can regain the quality of their past games? And the genuine desire to see sequels to their most popular games.
Shit, now I feel guilty. My next games are either Fallout 3 or Fable 2.
Can you elaborate? Color tones? Tone of the presentation or story? Why exactly?
It is aye. Fine game. Wonder that thing Iga is using does? I think it's a device to extend his penis!

IO interactives new game. For all platforms. Is this the first example of a game being made for Wii and ported up?
Anyone seen this preview?
Sounds great.
What's the deal with Free Radical? Timesplitters is far from an average series, simple as that.
Well the story concerns Factor 5, which says that all their projects are still going. My interest there is seeing someone push the Wii technically because bar a few, no one has done that and F5 were masters on the GC on visuals.
Plus its rumoured that they are working on either Kid Icarus or a Superman game so I'm interested in those franchises and they are good with flight games, arcade ones that is.
Err, Mass Effect can't come to the PC, because its already ON the PC.
And yes Timesplitter's is average as hell. It just took people up to game 3 to realise it. Maybe T4 would have been great, but IMO they should have just made a great original shooter seeing as how T3 sold like shit so obviously more people would probably prefer a new IP. What's the point of continuing an IP that sells shitty?
GG:
I'd love a factor 5 game for exactly those reasons, and their Star Wars games were always a lot of fun too (not the on foot sections, though, that's fro sure), I'm sure they can come back from Lair.
Okay, just done testing Wii Fit. I have done a few Yoga exercises, man they are hard. You have to stand in a akward position, while breathing slowly and keep you center of gravity still. Hard, but it will help me improving my balance.
Did some jogging to, you have to jog behind you trainer. I got bored of him quickly and decided to leave him behind and jog at supersonic speeds. Too bad my Mii could not keep up and he fell on his face a few times.
I did some hoola hoops and ball heading, skiing and ski jumping. Skiing was really fun. We Ski and Snowboarding are definetly on my list.
Did some step excersises too, man those are difficult.
By the way, Yes you do get tired and it will help you loose weight. Just do not expect magic. You still have to work for it!
Because it's better than fucking Halo, that's for damned sure.
At least those games had some personality and at least tried to do something that wasn't "DURR SHOOT THE ALIENS/TERRORISTS"
Lemme get this straight:
Long and rigid, phallic looking object... grab the end, make balls move around... Things blowing and very thick liquid...?
Not jealous at all. Sounds just like my weekend.Someone correct me if I am wrong, but aren't Suikoden: Tierkreis and Sands of Destruction among the first two (if not THE first two) DS games to come to America that will be on 256-Meg Cards?
