Guys? Do I count for two now? (answer: yes!)
I am the Juggernaut, once set in motion I cannot be stopped.
Oh and
I went to reach for a sandwich in the cafeteria tonight and SOME IDIOT THAT WORKS THERE didn't close the container properly so it fell out onto the rack. They come in these little clear plastic triangles with the tabs you push in, like how all baked goods in supermarkets is packaged.
And the lady stocking pop into the fridge next to me looks over at exactly the wrong time and sees me handling a bare sandwich with both hands as I try to put it back into the container. For a brief second after I saw it fall onto the rack, I considered just taking the sandwich in front of it and walking away, but I wasn't sure if she was looking at that point or not.
She will probably tell people that work there later "omg I saw this guy that took a sandwich out of the container and was holding it" YEAH BITCH BECAUSE YOU'RE TOO FUCKING INCOMPETANT TO CLOSE A TAB
I don't know what's worse:
- Staff seeing me handling food (although I took the one I touched so she can't say shit.)
- Or eating food that touched a rack that has been probably never cleaned since it's installation.
Either way, it seemed way too much like something you'd see happen on a sitcom.
That's because Game Informer is retarded. They gave the Thousand Year Door a 6.5 if I remember correctly. Even Yahtzee, hater of all jRPG loves the Paper Mario series.

Game Informer gives most games that have a very lighthearted, family friendly feel to them, low ratings. Like everything is supposed to be adult or nothing now. Their excuse for giving Paper Mario low scores was something like "Well even though its a solid game, we feel its too kiddie for our audience"
Hey, I'm going to be building a new PC next month. A real PC.
I need a list of 10 games to start off with, and Crysis is already #1. Anybody? I'm almost considering selling my 360 since I'll have a PC and most games also come out on that, plus I have my PS3 and Wii. The only thing that's holding me back is literally Rareware. Damn M$ for buying them!
Well its not surprising to me. Honestly, how many great looking 1st-party Nintendo games have been announced for 2009? Right now, their biggest games are fucking Gamecube ports of 8 year old games like Pikmin.
you are right, i phrased it wrong. the list is as it should be and not surprising. what's surprising is there are hardly any Nintendo games on the system this year

Even games like Punch out are by 3rd parties. It's good that they are publishing games like Fatal Frame 4 and Another Code etc. Should make E3 very interesting. I'm looking forward to Madworld, Little Kings Story, Fragile et al.
You would really sell off your 360? How many have you broken now?
Technically it is for, because Sin and Punishment 2 and Fatal Frame 4 are going to be published by Nintendo. And S&P is a IP owned by Nintendo.
Fixed it!
Besides the obvious games (Punk screaming Witcher), it might be a good idea to start on some of the classics. I hear good things about Fallout 2, Vampire Bloodlines and Planescape: Torment. Be sure to download mods because some of these games are glitchy without it.
They're obviously taking it slow, the bastards. The system sells regardless, so they have no reason to release anything.
They had a big 2007, so I can understand 2008 sucking. But you'd think some decent games would be announced by now for this year. By Gamecube's timeline, this would be early 2004. They already had F-Zero out, and stuff like Metroid Prime 2 and Pikmin 2 announced for later in the year.
If I have a PC and a PS3 that get 99% of those games, then I figure, why do I need the 360? Mostly, just for Rare stuff. I'm still not sure, but definitely entertaining the idea.
I've broken 4 of these beasts. Or, 4 have broken on ME. I'm actively trying to break my current one to get a new one via warranty, and the fucker will not die.
I DLED Vampire off Steam, and my POS Compaq won't play it. Hahaha. It looks really cool though. I already have Fallout 2, but Planescape is a good idea.
new games or anytime? should i assume that if a game is not PC exclusive you have most likely played it on 360?
i will first mention the two reasons most pressing for me to get a new PC: Diablo III and Starcraft II. it's tempting to be cynical but Blizzard have in the past made some of the greatest games ever, and though i stayed well away from WoW (mainly because i didn't trust my own OCD tendencies) i have every faith in them making more masterpieces.
STALKER is an interesting PC exclusive you might like to look into.
If you have any interest in strategy Civilization IV + expansions is supposedly practically flawless
there are more but you should set some guidelines as to what interests you most.
may also be worth checking out the Steam store to see what's there. Steam now has a system similar to Live in terms of achievements and leadership boards from what i understand. and it's also a great service for digital distribution of games. will try to find a link ...

Swat IV - fucking awesome tactical shooter from the team that made Bioshock.
Civ 4 - Great 4X game.
Company of Heroes - A WW2 RTS that's just so much fun.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Another great RTS from the developers of CoH. Got me into the fucking awesome universe that's 40K. The sequel comes out next month.
I played the hell out of Civ Revolution, so I don't think I could handle any Civ 4 right now. Definite buy in the future though.
Stalker I forgot about; definitely need to give that one a look. Diablo 3 and Starcraft I'm all over like flys to a pile of shit.
So that should be good for now; I'll start off with Crysis, Vampire, and Stalker.
Do you guys think I should get Orange box on PC? I traded in the 360 version and have been wanting to get it again. Is it much better on PC?
Whats up guys, so I missed some MGS4 talk, damn.
I have been playing all sorts of stuff. Samba de Amigo, Super Monkey Ball 2, Sonic, Boom Blox (AWESOME), oh and Ninja Gaiden DS which is fantastic. NGDS surprises me with how smooth the combat is with the sylus and all the neat tricks they do with the DS, a very very well designed game, maybe one of my favorites of the system.
Uncharted 2 preview, yum.
Pikmin 3? Well that isn't dated. Besides as Nintendo has shown they announce games a few months before release. They've been doing this for a while now.
You can join in with the GMS4 talk. ANd yeah NGDS combat is AWESOME too bad the level design isn't.
I love how gaming journalism always waits for the day to gaming to "grow up" when they get swopped into hype by flashy pictures and ambious claims and end up giving the games 10's and "the best game ever made" titles. Gaming doesn't need to "grow up" gaming is already established it just needs to be more accesible for the casual audience. That's how Nintendo and Blizzard games sell so well.
And yeah I agree. As a PC, Wii, and DS gamer and I don't really want much on the PS3 or the 360. Hell if someone gave me their PS3 and 360 I'd just buy Valkyria Chronicles, Little Big Planet, Ninja Gaiden II, and Lost Odyessy and....that's it.
