In the end, Alvis comments how rich and vast the new created universe is. It would be weird that a direct sequel would not explore themes about a rich and vast universe. And who would be the baddie, you just killed God?! An alien invader or something?! That would be anti-climatic!
How about the God of an alien invader?
I don't know, I think that stuff like space travel would break up the feeling of geographical belonging that Xenoblade had. Also, it's not that because a God has perrished, that no one else could try to take his place.
Yeah Dunban was sweet probably my favorite too. Reyn is great in the lovable yet slight dumb kind of way. Riki is fantastic. Shulk makes a decent hero. The women especially fiora are all great. But yeah Dunban is the most badass of all.

Shulk is the first time I have seen where the main here is smart and nerdy. He is a scientist, engineer type. Usually these characters are supporting characters, while the big dumb heroes with power of self confidence are the main characters in all Japanese media.
Melia is my favorite female character. Her father gets killed. Her stepmother tries to assassinate her. Almost everyone she knows get transformed in a beast, who she is forced to kill. And her love interest (Shulk) gets reunited with his thought to be dead girlfriend. And she never ever complains. What a trooper. There are some sidequests and heart to hearts that further flesh out her character.
Sharla is the motherly figure, but I like her mostly for her tits.
Fiora is a cool character to control, but character wise she is a bit bland. Shulk is also kinda bland so they belong together I guess.
Riki is the heropon. That is all you need to know.
Reyn, is Reyn. Funny and a big oaf. It is Reyn time baby. He and Shulk have a great bromance going.

Carina Reeves. I don't know if this is THE Carina Reeves, but lets just all assume she is.

Melia's voice actress
Jenna-Louise Coleman. Huba huba huba
BTW if you ever play the game again. Switch to the Japanese voices. Egil sound like a badass. And Dunban is Vegeta! My first playthrough was in Japanese, the next one will be in English.
I think we need picture of all of the voice actors japanese and english to determine which one is the hottest. For scientific purposes only, of course!
Dvader said:Both very attractive but my ears were correct I think fioras voice actress is hotter.
It's the cello, right?

You're about halfway through.

Oh shit, just realised isn't this the chick from Doctor Who?

That's what I figured. I spent a shitload of time doing side quests when I started it over a year ago....now I just wanna finish the quest. Need to get some fuckin' games finished!
Ok I just got to the boss fight with Sharla's boyfriend in the Mech city, what the fuck I spent the last 5 hours grinding and I'm still not strong enough to beat this fuckin' guy. If he didn't summon two fucking drones to fight with him, I could probably do it...we're both level 68 but those drones make me waste too much time and energy on there.
If there's one thing I don't like about this game, its the same as many other RPG's....too much time grinding. You grind and grind and think you should be good enough to blast through the rest of the game, only to get your ass kicked by the next boss regardless. I fucking HATE that. I'm not 18 with nothing to do anymore...I don't want to sit around for 3 days grinding. Now, I know some claim there is no grinding in this game because "you can just do side quests and level up that way"....ugh, that is STILL grinding, just hidden under the veil of something to do. And besides, I've done TONS of quests...more than I feel I should have. My guys should be invinsible by now. And honestly, I wish they were because at this point I just wanna finish the game.
This game also was really almost too much for the Wii. The level of slowdown in some of the fights is insane. I'm surprised it doesn't crash. I guess that's why I'm looking forward to Xenoblade 2 so much, because this game itself was begging for better hardware to run on and the sequel should clean everything up.
gamingeek said:Fucking game! My team I've used for over 100 hours has to be swapped out to beat a boss? For the girly girl and the ball of fluff? I would rather bitch slap them both.
Oh no...are you serious? This is what I have to look forward to?
I usually stick with Shulk, Reyn and Dunban. But once in awhile I switch out Dunban and put either Sharla or Dunban's sister in. I NEVER use Melia or Riki....
"you can just do side quests and level up that way"
But, it's true. Easy, pleasurable levelling up. And it's also awesome how all characters even ones you dont use, level up simultaneously.

Yeah, for a particular boss anyhow.

Yes she is Clara Oswald from Doctor Who.

You do not need to grind I Xenoblade to finish the game. Just beat all the enemies you encounter and you should be good to go. Grinding is a brute force approach in RPG, using stategy should work better. It has been a while, what attacks does Gaddolt do that hurt you?

It get's worse. But luckily this is no action game, so slowdown is not as detrimental as in those games.
An question for you all!
Who is your favorite character and why?
Mine is Dunban. He has one functioning arm and yet hold his own. And he has a cool and smart personality. He is just fucking awesome! I mean he beat god while wearing nothing but underpants!!
