I am fed up with the lack of difficulty or any strategy in the main quest. The last major story fight I had I could have just left my wiimote on the floor and still won the battle.

That is for cylinders. If you have 3 you can pick 3 stuffs that are below 100% and make cylinders of them.

The last major fights you had to use purge, so no.

I am past that, no need for purge.
It is not a problem I caused myself, the game is giving me a million side quests and asking me to explore but i am not supposed to do it. I talk about it in my podcast. Its the games fault, horrible difficultty balance.
How overlevelled are you Vader? I have problems facing more than one black coloured enemy. What level are you when you take on X boss and what level are they?

I am like level 40 and they are like level 37. I am usually like 5 levels above most enemies in areas.

I actually played the game in Japanese, so I don't have many quotes. (Dunban is Vegeta BTW)

You should be two levels under or one level under at least. Lay off the sidequests and play the main quest, the enemies will eventually get harder. Then when it gets too hard, then do the sidequests and level up.

No, no no. You don't understand.
There is no time limit on the quest like they time out after 10 hours or whatever. There are major turning points in the story where they will lock areas out these are hours and hours and hours apart.
If you want to know the cut off points, it's easy enough to ask me or Iga. Since most of you are at the right stage, you will know that Colony 6 rebuilding will lock out a few Bionis refugee camp quests.
That is the first and very minor one. The others are easy and obvious to avoid. You can progress very far into the story without having to worry about sidequests.
