The circle is now complete.  For the secoind generation in a row, I am the owner of all three consoles.  No more complaining about not being able to play a certain game.  I now have the power to do so, bank account willing.  It's the Killzone 3 bundle so it feels as though I only paid about $240 for it. Grinning  I've opened the box! Ok, where the hell is the brick?   I've plugged in the controller to charge.  It has found my wireless connection, no problems!  And...updating....updating. TBC...

The list of games as of 2/22/11

Killzone 3

Metal gear Solid 4

Little Big Planet

Uncharted

Uncharted 2

Ok, my PSN id is TravoBasic.   I'll have to add you guys later.  My son is begging to watch a video before bed, so the PS3 gets christened with...Mickey's Sing Along!

I'd add you right now, but apparently if I touch a game controller, my head will explode.

indecision

Installing MGS4 right now!  I actually beat this game when it first came out.  I rented a PS3 because I couldn't resist Metal Gear, except the last five minutes. Nyaa

Dude, I've spent 70% of my PS3 time watching updates and installations.  The LBP one was particularly painful.

Played about fifteen minutes of LBP and loved what I've seen so far.  I can't wait to see how deep the gameplay/level design can get.  It's very charming so far, kinda like Epic Kirby/Paper Mario.  Now for the game I've been waiting for.  Here I go with Uncharted 1.

Great opening.  I played a little of U1 when I rented the PS3 a few years back.  I didn't get far, but far enough to know that I certainly wanted to finish.  Does anyone think of Bruce Campbell when they hear Sully?

The upside, so far? I love not requiring batteries for the controller! LBP has a Epic Kirby/ Paper Mario charm and I'm sure I'll probably spend countless hours with it. I love the textures and lighting effects in Uncharted, maybe some of the best I've seen. MGS is as awesome as always. Online is free!

The downside, so far? The PSN is butt ugly compared to LIVE, but oh well, it'll do. It's also not as user friendly. Is Home pointless or what? No cool sound effect when I earn a trophy.

LBP1? There is no real reason to get LBP1 now that there is LBP2. Use my hearted levels as a guide to some good levels.

And welcome to the club, I wish I had my PS3 to welcome you on. But I will be away from it for a week. Sad

Yes there is a sound effect when you get a trophy.
