Tokyo Beat Down
Sawa preview of this and it sounded like it would be a lot of fun!
Sounds like it's going for a 80s police show vibe?

This is a game some of you may have missed. Came out last month, it's an Atlus published beat-em-up for the DS.
You play Lewis Cannon, a white-suited Jackie-Chan.
The writing in this game is top notch comedy. In the first level you work your way through a level beating the shit out of all and sundry, you get to the end and ask your partner (above) what those guys were wanted for, "Murder? GTA? Dealing dope?" She replies as above and then explains you were after "Dine and Dash" offenders. "Dine and Dash? The worse kind..." Okay so you had to be there, but the script is fun.
Graphically it's low-rent polygons and the gameplay is well, it's essentially Final Fight, or Double Dragon. Which for me, is awesome. And Super.
Takes place in real locations in Tokyo, so expect to fist your way through Shabuyaa (pretty sure that is how that is spelt) etc..
Not worth $30 USD, but I'd get it for $20 USD if you like beat-em-ups.
