It's pretty insane. 2014 has been a fairly quiet year. Hell the first half of the year was practically dead, but since late August it's been ramping up. And next month it's an atomic fucking bomb. I'm so confused....
Aww, isn't that cute. You included LBP3 with the big boys.
Anyway this month is crazy. I'll probably just get GTAV, Dragon Age 3, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. I'd like to get Far Cry 4 but that'll be later on down the road.
WWE 2K15 (PS4) on the 20th and then Dragon Age: Inquistion and Pokémon Omega Ruby on the 21st here. If only I had the time for all three. At least I can wait for LBP3.

Yeah that week is huge. Not to mention Halo Collection comes out on the 11th just before all that stuff. And I see myself playing a ton of that online....I mean all the old Halo multi-player revamped and on Xbox One? That's pretty damn cool.
There's been a few weeks I can remember like this over the years. Maybe not the last few but in the prime of the 360/PS3 days for sure, and definitely in the PS2 era. I remember buying Ico, Silent Hill 2 and something else all on the same day in 2001. Maybe Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance? Anyway, it was an awesome day! Also, Metroid Prime, Splinter Cell, & Resident Evil Zero in 2002 only like 2 days apart. Great times.
I really itch for Far Cry 4, after just finishing off Far Cry 3 not long ago. But between Destiny and Halo Collection, I don't think I need another shooter right now.
Just checked RE0 came out the week before, I knew I was not playing both at the same time. I had beated RE0 long before getting Metroid Prime.

The most anticipated game of the year.

With the most anticipated soundtrack of the year.

Still the best time I remember though, was playing Metal Gear Solid and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time back to back in 1998. I don't think I've ever had my mind blown by two games back to back like that....ever.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who spotted that.
Well I get Halo Collection today, then next week is GTA 5 PS4 Edition, Dragon Age 3, and possibly Far Cry 4. Then the first week of December is Captain Toadstool.
Combine this stuff with my backlog, and its a bit insane. Next year I'm sure is going to pick up the pace not on general releases, but on really high quality (AAA) releases. So I think I'm going to have to just focus on the best of the best in 2015, and leave everything else alone until the bargain bin.
Well Target is having a B2G1 free deal starting Nov.9 and ending just before Nov 18th. Well that is when I realized what is hitting that week and frankly we have never seen anything like it.
GTAV, Dragon Age 3, Far Cry 4, Little Big Planet 3 all on THE SAME DAY. Then that friday on the 21st Super Smash Bros. U hits. I don’t even… I have never bought more than two games at once on a release day, that day I will for sure buy 3 games, GTA, DA and LBP. That is if I dont feel like getting FC4 in which case I would buy all 4. Then that friday of course I am getting Smash!
What do I play? What do I do? Juggling two games is hard enough but potentially 5 of them. That is just nuts.
