I think the series has a bad habit of killing charactesr off with no meaning or build up. They seem to just bump people off for the sake of it. You know S******, they had this whole mysterious backstory as why he was there etc and he was just bumped off like someone wiped their nose.
Then Bobby's buddy was bumped off, same episode, totally pointless for a good actor who probably deserved more of a role and character injection. I'm glad that C***** stuck around though.
Ben and Lisa though...... Fuuuuuuuuuuu, just pointless having them in the series full stop.
Well the way they are going there won't be anyone left for season 8. I guess they are trying to end it. And Lisa got a good deal, usually women die a horrible death in Supernatural.
GG, still better than having terrible dialogue. The art of good corn has been lost, so you're not going to be getting very good humorous exchanges or one liners anyway so they may as well just shut the hell up and kick people in the face.
"The Hoff actually looks the part. He's big and scowly. He chomps on the cigar like a champion. But then he opens his mouth and is just awful as he spouts lines that apparently can only work on the comics page. When spoken by a human being in what are supposed to be life or death situations they become trite and cartoonish."
ROFL NO SHIT.
Because they're trite and cartoonish in the first plcae, though.
That Nick Fury movie looks terrible, I can't believe David Goyer was involved.
Nick Fury for me has always been him interacting on a minimal basis with other, proper superheroes. He's like a side character to me and a fairly uninteresting one at that.

Perfect role for Hasslehoff then. If he wasn't the main character lol.
Just saw Mission Impossible 4 in IMAX. The movie is phenomenal, it is non stop action with some awesome fun set pieces. I say its the best in the series. I am convinced that Tom Cruise is a space alien that does not age and that is why he worships them. Dude is a pimp. The director is Brad Bird, its his first live action movie, he has done cartoon masterpieces like Iron Giant and The Incredibles. Go see it, way better than Sherlock.
Up next is Tin Tin, then Dragon Tattoo and the War Horse. Two Spielberg movies in less than a week. So exciting.
^You thought Ninja Assasins was a great action movie. Your opinion on 'great set pieces' and 'action' are therefore invalid.
What's war horse?
I continue to watch Buffy. There is some Jamacian Slayer who wears midriff exposing clothes.
This show is so cheesy and lame, yet I continue to mildly enjoy it. The martial arts stuff is laughable.

NA is a silly over the top action movie, not a serious one. MI4 is serious well made action movie. Seriously you guys have no fun with movies, check your brain at the door and have fun with NA. "The ethinicity is all over the place" good god who gives a crap, ninjas are fighting in the middle of a highway, enjoy!

It was crap as a fun action movie also. It was just boring, action scenes were impossible to follow and so predictable. Next thing you are going to say that the Dark Knight is a good action movie also? Because if you do, I suggest to check your front door, because someone has just shat on your brain.
TDK is a phenomenal movie period. Yeah Nolan could work on his action, in terms of tension and suspense its a masterful piece of work.
I just saw TinTin, fun movie but like many said its lacking something, some soul, I dont know. The action is pretty spectacular, all very elaborate sequences with tons of moving parts and a bunch of gags. The movie is a non stop adventure film, dont come expecting much of a story or character development. The movie is practically Uncharted 3 the movie, they go to many of the same locations and have major chases and sequences. The movie is about a treasure from Sir Francis (not Drake, but close enough) and there is loads of running and shooting. Its so much action that I did kind of feel like I was watching a game.
Andy Serkis steals the movie, Haddock is a great character. Jamie Bell does a great job as Tin Tin as well though don't go in expecting any character on the level of Indiana Jones or even Jack Sparrow. It's missing that major central character. The visuals are crazy, its a photorealistic cartoon brought to life, its stunning. There is real acting going on even though they are cartoon characters, such a cool look. Its not like the creepy Polar Express or Beowulf, its much more natural.
Fun movie, fun is the key word. Sadly this movie has no audience in America. It had a terrible marketing campaign, nobody even knows it exists. Everyone I know has no clue what movie I just saw, the response when I say Tin Tin is always "what?". This could be a really cool series if the characters develop further and I would love to see how the Peter Jackson directed one will be.
Who the fuck do you think you are talking to? I knew about Tin Tin before you even existed and Bugsy likes crane and not me

LOL, get that stick out of your ass, I was telling you there was a crane fight that is all. I have no clue where you are getting that I was telling you what Tin Tin is, you are delusional.
You dont like cranes? Didnt you work with cranes? I am confused.
I don't remember you saying it was crap?
But also the ethnicity of the movie was all over the place. Rain is a Korean pop star, Ninjas are Japanese but the film was sorta non-specific on what oriental culture they were trying to ape.
