Walking dead finale sets cable records, but we wont see the 2nd season for an entire year.

That show is slowest paced turd I have ever seen. It's a soap opera with zombies. And of course because it's ridiculously bad of course people are eating it up.

The first episode was slow beyond belief, but since then it picked up and I really enjoy it.
I gave it three episodes and then threw up my hands and quit. I've heard it does get better, but ultimately I just can't watch again. Maybe when its collected on DVD.
In other TV news, the new season of Leverage starts up next Sunday. Booyah!!

Here we got a 2 hr opening episode with no adverts that was soooooooooooo slow. Did you guys get the same thing or was it broken up into 3 slow episodes?
We had the two hour episode as well.

Walking Dead is by far my favorite new show, its incredible. Its a zombie show its supposed to be slow paced, all the best zombie movies are. I loved the finale.

No, they should be character dramas cause that is what is important in a zombie apocalypse. How will the last humans find a way to survive, or worst, how do they deal with each other when all laws mean nothing and its kill or be killed.
An action movie with people running around killing zombies isnt that fun. Just watch any RE movie.
I saw some Jeff Bridges movies I had never seen. I saw Tron for the first time, it wasn't a bad movie, it wasn't great either. It was a very good 80s kid adventure movie. I was amazed at the effects for the time. Also the story was not what I expected, I thought Tron was about a guy being sucked into a video game, I didn't expect a fully realized computer world.
I also saw The Big Lebowski for the first time. Very cool movie, it had me cracking up at times but it was missing something. I dont what it is about Coen bros. movies, they sometimes feel like the are missing an ending or something. But this movie did have an amazing cast of characters.
Now you have to watch the Last Starfighter.
And Flight of the Navigator
And Weird Science

I have seen Flight of the Navigator. Need to see the other two.
BTW Jeff Bridges is awesome. I will see him in Tron 2 soon and I really want to see True Grit which looks fantastic.
