Feh. . . Infinity Gauntlet? I honestly don't think this story held up that well over time. And Infinity Crusade was pure pure crap. That's right I said it.
Marvel never really does that great with their mega cross-overs if you ask me. Civil War wasn't bad but that's really the only thing I can think of that I enjoyed. Then again, I can't really say D*C does too much better.
I just think that's too many characters for one movie. Besides until they do a Moon Knight movie Marvel there's no time for anything else.
Robio there are a lot of characters but the story really only focuses on a few, Thanos, Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, Mephisto, Death (non-speaking). The rest are there to just smash shit up.
Superhero movies are confined to earth, I want to see the bigger stories told.

I have read it. I just don't think it'd be a good movie. Not yet anyway. Marvel couldn't handle Galactus in Fantastic Four 2. I have no confidence that they could pull off Cosmic themed movie yet.
Yeah that is a big question. How can a movie handle the real Galactus? A giant man in a pink and blue suit?
I hear that J Michael Strazynski is penning the script for the Silver Surfer Movie. Now I have no idea how that will work. Most of it must be on Zenn la prior to his transformation.

It was called the Infinity Gauntlet and centered on Thanos, perhaps the most evil and powerful man to ever exist, arch foe of the Silver Surfer. He gained the infinity gauntlet (the remains of a former god) and it made him all powerful. More powerful than the existing gods of the marvel universe.
This would be the very pinnacle of Marvel Superhero movies, but might be hideously expensive to make considering most of the tale takes place in space.
There are also two further Infinity series, War and Crusade, so a trilogy could be made too. Check it all out here:

I remember the video game adaptations. Those weren't too bad.
